When I was young my Dad told me "Boy a 4X4 will only get you 40' further in the mud and cost you more to get you out!" and "Son you will get stuck more with a four wheel drive truck than a two wheel drive" so when I did get a 4X4 man was he right! I went mudding got stuck many times. I grew up a little and would find my self thinking I can make that! Ending up stuck. Now the only time I use 4X4 is when I'm pulling out one of my sons. Live it while your young. Have fun boys!
Been there! Buried a Dakota years ago to the frame. Had 2 trucks pulling on it and the hooks started ripping the frame. Left it overnight and paid a hefty tow truck price to have it winched. Fast forward a couple years, same 99 Dakota..I thought I would have a 4x4 competition with a friend who had an 85 Toyota. Big mistake! Broke a half shaft trying to get up the creek bank. Once again, tow truck.
Hell I have a 2wd Chevy on all terrains, I do mild offroading and mudding and have a blast. I know my limits so I've never been stuck but I've had to work to get out of a couple situations that I wouldn't have had to with 4wd, which to me would all the fun out of it. After all fun is what it is all about
CHEECHIN DIESEL rough country lifts are trash bro ask anyone who had had a rc and then changed to another lift and they're dirt cheap so you have a little bit of money to fix what it fucks up
If only I could destroy my $30-40,000 trucks up like that. Must be nice.......until you need new CV axles, ball joints, transmissions, front diff, ect.
OK for you noobs, if thats your daily driver and you like mudding, get another set of rims and tires. Real mud tires with deep knobs. Second you had 3 trucks to pull you out, USE THEM IN LINE TOGETHER. You wont damage the trucks and you can get out easily. Have fun MUDDING LIFE!
I’m lost to why your all going throw thick shit stock or I think the chevy was lowered the only truck that wasn’t stock was what look like the black hemi
GTHE_SUPER_MAN lol Chevy and Toyota seem to be the most reliable trucks in the market at the moment Fords have mad issues with the motors and Dodges are just Dodges

Jeffrey Chandler not true all the time but it does happen.
What? This just fucked up my brain cells. I had a 2wd and 4wd and gone through thicker and deeper shit than my 2wd ever would
I think the thought process here is that maybe you’re more tempted to try it with a 4wd than with a 2wd.
My dad always told me the EXACT and I mean exact thing, but I still bought a z71 4x4 of course 😂😂
