- Watch something you won't see everyday! Went out to help a few buddy's which turned into a shit show and a bunch of trucks stuck! Thanks too the Mega truck owner & flat bed owner that pulled us out!!!! Also big thanks too the cops for being chill! Great too have a truck community that helps each other out!

Funny how having a lift, axles that can articulate more than a few degrees, and mud tires will do that.
Always know the right people when tackling a ruff area. This is why I love the fact I work with my dads logging business. Having dual wheel skidders and tract loaders at your disposal makes muddling no prob at all as far as getting stuck and not being able to get out. Moving them to said location can be tricky without a permit sometimes though lol.

Always remember, near-stock cars with small tires and suspension will usually get stuck in a mud bog event. There's a reason people make them so big

Winches , tyres and kinetic tow ropes is money better spent, plus you a whole group of pushers, more brain cells less beer.
I see alot of the wrong type of tires and stock trucks to try fighting that much mud and that soft of ground 😂 hopefully that's a lesson learned. 4 wheel drive means nothing with cheap tires

I saw 613 trucks and guessed Cornwall Ottawa area. Pretty cool rig. Only bad thing about being the guy with the biggest truck... it's hard to find someone to pull you out. My Broncos is all 1 ton on 39.5 boggers and it's a good thing I'm a logger because skidders come in handy lol

Ya my Jeep did a pretty good job for having a 3.8 under the hood. She pulled out 2 Cummins before someone even more capable came. Trucks aren't good for off-roading unless they have a lot put into them.

In their defense, that was a strap suited for recovering things much heavier than those stock trucks.
But you are still right. Even if there were such a thing as an unbreakable tow strap, there's no guarantee that what you hooked up to won't break loose. And that really is a way to lose limbs and worse.

I've seen them get yanked loose or snapped off and fall to the ground, and I've seen bumpers snap off & fly off. I've seen tow hooks and such snap go flying and I've even seen frames fail and the vehicle be pulled in two. But I haven't seen a C3 hitch flying through the air.
THAT could sure mess up a good hair do! ....and a pair of boxers too depending on the situation.😝
