LOVE it on every student bike you're riding, you have no clue what you're on until you look at it hahaha! It's so good to see you drop down to a weekend warrior moment before killing it out on track!
Great day at the track AJ. Looking forward to the next class. Next time, I’ll remember to bring some fitness! 😂 I should add that was my first time riding in 12 years. Felt like I could go faster more safely than I could back in the day thanks to your coaching!
Nice laps! Try to get the mic adapter for the GoPro and attach it to your Rode wireless mic so we can hear you while the wind is blowing :) If you want to save that extra bulk you can record the audio separately with the Rode wireless mic and when you start recording with the GoPro hit record on the mic and clap your hands hard so both the GoPro mic and the Rode will pick it up - that way you can sync the audio later on post pretty easily. Also, see if you can make the Rode mic to record at 48kHz (since the GoPro records audio at that rate).
I was actually going to test that out tomorrow!! Thinking I would record direct onto rode wireless mic and would be easy enough to sync. Had some ideas while doing it on my Alta 😬
@@AjCatanzaro So lets see how it will turn out :) Just don't forget to check if you can record the audio at 48kHz otherwise it won't match perfectly (44kHz audio and 48kHz on the Gopro).
Nice ride AJ, would be nice to have an in-depth how-to corner throw ruts, tracks out here starting to get real rutty this autumn. As always nice videos keep up the good work!
Nice video of cutting lines in. You do A good job of explaining how doing so can help A rider flow and keep momentum. I wish more ametures could realize that going inside at the beginning of a corner then pushing the line out makes for a awkward track.
The one thing it would be nice for tracks to do would make the first session of the day on a fresh track would be to make it an A or A/B session first.
I always think you have to be giving it some kind of throttle over, jumps if you don't you will endo, apparently that's not the case. I haven't done enough to know, heck I haven't done enough to actually catch air.
idk why, but I actually prefer a kickstart on a dirt bike. It starts to feel alot like a quad with electric start. Sorta iconic and if your bike is running well, only takes one kick usually. Thats never bothered me. lol
Depends on what you are doing.. if you ride technical single track electric start Is a must if you get stalled out on a steep section or have to push the bike.. it’s also really good if you are racing and stall the bike coming into a corner or something silly like that.. most of the time you can get on the starter and get going again before you even come to a stop.
Very few people are actually racing professionally. Most are recreational/weekend warriors. But for that purpose, I can see it. To stay competitive. Makes you wonder how we made it before electric start came along. Lol
@@TwinTurboLsx i mean even as a weekend rider. Electric start is the way to go. My buddy just got new kx250f 2022. First thing he said was thank God I don't have have fucking kick anymore ha

Literally just up the road from my house. Glad you're giving Texas some love!
That moment at 10:20 when you wheelied all the whoops. Epic! Keep being awesome 💪
We enjoyed your class out there. Thanks for coming out!
Can’t wait to come back!
I was at Creekside Mx today

"How do make perfect ruts"
Ride in beginners and wait while the experts do it! 😃
It can be frustrating to do, especially when you’re out there by yourself

Still pretty lame tho imo. I mean better then no track . Just a big ol beginners gp course bahahah

When was this class?? I live in San Antonio
I think it was this weekend/yesterday and Friday (could be wrong though)

it is a 2021 kx

is it not better to make sketchy ruts because you probability won't have a perfect rut in races, and if u do it will be a lot easier
My perfect ruts can still be easily ruined in just a few laps by a handful of bikes
There’s only one true creekside mx and that’s in Iron Station NC
Its really hard to make good content without cameron cam eh? hard to film.

When has any pro-national had perfect ruts? Teaching people something they will never see??
