Love watching a top 25 professional on a track with regular dudes, let's you appreciate how fast you guys really are! Then there's the guy that tries to pace ya... there for a straight or 2 then the rate which you blow by in the corner is mind blowing.... and he's probably the man at any local track!
I absolutely LOVE that your brakes squeak. It is really cool to hear your breaking points coming into corners, and makes it a lot easier to learn from you virtually.
Hi, Jeff just wanted to let you know that my little brother loved watching your videos and you inspired him to start racing motocross. Unfortunately, recently he fell victim of a bike stack up and passed away, he watched your videos everyday and I thank you for being the inspiration to do something he loved.
Love that track! It's an absolute blast to ride, and the owners are incredibly kind people! I've only been there once, but it was an instant favorite for me.
Hey Jeff, I’m the one taking ur hood lines and cutting the track. Didn’t here u coming and outside is to muddy for my lil 125. Was gonna apologize but I thought u needed some extra practice getting around us slow guys😂
Lol he’s only half right, you’re not expected to ride around the track looking over your shoulder. He’s the faster rider, it’s his responsibility to pass you, not your job to get out of his way. With that being said tho, ride predictably. If the outside is too muddy for your bike, the smart thing to do would have been to use the inside line down the straight before the corner instead of cutting outside-inside at the last second.
With supercoop being the main track I go to, watching you go the speed you do is insane. I'd be happy if I could do half the speed lol. Sendin it brotha
That zoom mic is awesome! At work daydreaming about riding and it's been way too long. Longer than I ever want to admit but the zoom mic is great! The go pro mic is not even close
It's so crazy to me how you are able to push through those deep muddy spots so well, guess that's why you are a pro! Lol. The zoom mic is nice though, engine sounds much better. Love watching your stuff!
Jeff, It likely wasn't the Lapelle mic they sent that is causing the distortion, but rather a setting on the recorder itself. I'd set it to record -24 dB on the recorder. It should clear right up
That's crazy how you just float across those lines in the deep sand. Is ghat feeling you just get used to and it feels normal after a while? that feeling ike the front end is gonna wash out at any minute?
Pro/AM race in Neosho, MO (15 min south of Joplin, MO) on October 14th, 15th, and 16th at 4 State Moto Complex. $15,000 payout between 250 and 450 pros.
After watching you ripping, I thought: "is JWalk ever gonna ride SX again?" And I hope you get to do it again at some point! Just for fun, you know, no pressure
For sound you could probably strap a go pro somewhere underneath your fender purely for sound pick up but I’m not too sure where it’d go. Saying that, the zoom seems to be pretty decent with bike sound
Awesome video, the mic sounds sooo much better , can hear how bad the GoPro is when flipping Between the 2, GoPro sounds like mic is in a box or waterproof housing compared to the mic sounds crispy clear 🔥
Jeff this is some serious riding i was riding a track yesterday and thought i was fast and was ripping but this is the first time i’ve actually noticed how insanely fast and good u are on the track. I hope i can get that good someday just gotta keep practicing but seriously keep it up dude!
could you imagine a 2stroke on that track with that mic it would make it way better actually hereing how it digs into the soft dirt. you should get another 2 stroke. Sometimes i'll go back and watch your old 2 stroke videos
I was there bro! I would hop on after you got off! LOL- You out there making glass my friend! BTW, What GoPro are you using? I have the Hero 7 and it's got decent sound. Good reproduction of the throaty Exhaust on my 06 CRF250r with a FMF Mega Bomb and Big Gun Exhaust. And OMGsh. That first turn was like a friggen BOG! LOLOL
If you ever come through st louis check out ride organic. They are open on weekdays and have a pro mx track,Arena x track a sand track and a flat track that Jeffrey carver jr runs. I have a few videos of me tilling and ripping the pro mx track.
I like the gopro audio a little better, although this video sounds quieter compared to some of the other ones. Probably just some editing for it being quieter
It’s a lot easier said than done, but you’ll find that the faster mph you can go, the easier it is to stay upright. I almost fall over multiple times when I’m on my sight-lap. Keeping your speed up makes it WAY easier to go straight
Not too ruff, but pretty deep ! How do you keep from getting pulled over here and there ? Just keep the front light and power on and ass over the back ? Sketchy sand . 🤪
Hey man! I run the Renthal 997. It actually had a fairly large amount of sweep…if you’re looking for a flat bar, take a look at the 996. That’s the most popular bend among the pro Renthal racers
I'm doing a beach race in a few weeks on a yz250f,I've never rode on sand it's very soft deep sand as it's a beach anyone have any tips, like positioning, should I only use back brake stand up sit down cheers, sick vid aswell
Lots of throttle, shift weight a little towards the back when you need more traction which also helps the front tire float over the sand better, stand almost all the way through the corners, maintain proper attack position by dropping your heels and keeping your knees back while hinging at your hips. When accelerating, pinch your traps together without letting your elbows migrate towards your sides. I'm from Florida and what we ride is mostly sugar sand and it definitely gets deep too. Have a great race if you haven't already done it!
Also, I want to point out at 4:00 good excample (and 50 every time he goes to the track.) Jwalk is consistently one of the SAFEST fast guys on any track. I actually think it translates to his lack of dramatic crashes in the nationals races. Always looking ahead and assessing the fastest/safest path in real time, and being able to make the adjustments he wants to.
Zoom mic gives a much more intense / less muffled sound. Once you sort the issues out it’ll be a good addition to the channel!
I agree it's be great keep up the great work can't wait for the next videos
Yea it is much more fun to watch with the zoom Mic

The zoom is definitely the way to go. Sounds way better.
That zoom mic is great! It really brings out the angry sound of the ktm. Glad to see you posting content again!
I absolutely LOVE that your brakes squeak. It is really cool to hear your breaking points coming into corners, and makes it a lot easier to learn from you virtually.

So sorry to hear that
soo good to see you ride!! i like the zoom sound more then the gopro
Glad the videos are coming, I've been rewatching all the older ones😅😅
13:17 ohh my goodness that’s so smooth. The landing, the braking, the little squeak 😂😂
You are such a beast JWalk! Between you and Carson Brown, I never have to watch any other content. Keep it up!
Love that track! It's an absolute blast to ride, and the owners are incredibly kind people! I've only been there once, but it was an instant favorite for me.

@@yamac488 I’m just trying to get to the driest lines and if that cutting all over then that’s what I might have to do
The zoom audio captures the gnarlyness of the motor. GoPro was muffled. Your voice on zoom was crisp too.
That is one hell of a bike. Speed, designed everything about it is wicked!
You were smokin around that track it’s mind boggling how much faster the top 15 are in outdoor nationals
Lmao that’s me on the side of the track 4:00, In the moment I thought I broke my shin😂😂😂
With supercoop being the main track I go to, watching you go the speed you do is insane. I'd be happy if I could do half the speed lol. Sendin it brotha
The zoom is for sure the move makes it a lot cooler to watch the videos lol love hearing that thing bark
Looking great man! 💥FInally get to see a good video of this track. its fun to rip around on in MX Bikes.
What track is this on Mx Bikes??
Zoom all the way big dawg !!! That 4 fity is straight barking with the zoom set up . Sounds amazing!!
"The track is muddy, it will not look much impresive on the GoPro" 2sec later - destroying the track and flying. Good job, love it!
That zoom mic is awesome! At work daydreaming about riding and it's been way too long. Longer than I ever want to admit but the zoom mic is great! The go pro mic is not even close
Wow! You go crazy fast dude! I just got my first bike and i dont think i will ever be able to do this! Its insane! Keep it up.
high quality camera.. so dope, its like we are there with you. nice work
7:34 it's insane how you jump across into those ruts 🤙
Fuck yeah I thought the same thing just sent it into what ever hahaha crazy
7:11 Jeff you hit that inside rut mad hard bro your wild 😮💨😮💨
I like the GoPro more, just because it’s a little muffled and when it’s muffled it seems to make the audio some what smoother and more crisp.
It's so crazy to me how you are able to push through those deep muddy spots so well, guess that's why you are a pro! Lol. The zoom mic is nice though, engine sounds much better. Love watching your stuff!
I like the zoom keep up the good work
Man I’m jealous my bike blew up last week still waiting for the part’s , stay safe Jeff.
Sorry to hear that man. Hope you get it fixed asap!
Jeff, It likely wasn't the Lapelle mic they sent that is causing the distortion, but rather a setting on the recorder itself. I'd set it to record -24 dB on the recorder.
It should clear right up
how do you get the zoom mic on the actual video or how do you connect it to the gopro and how does that all work
That's crazy how you just float across those lines in the deep sand. Is ghat feeling you just get used to and it feels normal after a while? that feeling ike the front end is gonna wash out at any minute?
What stopwatch do you use for your riding?
Much prefer the zoom audio over the gopro, keep up the awesome content brother! 👌
looks like a blast great riding man
hey awesome riding I was just wondering where you got your gopro mount
I had lost my arm for a whole year because someone cut infront of me, dislocated my arm and yeah wasn't fun recovery. Thank you for adding that.
where do you put the camera helmet or chest?
The last jump before the finishes with the 180 turn behind it so doable to the (don’t know what it is in English) littl sand dune right ?
Pro/AM race in Neosho, MO (15 min south of Joplin, MO) on October 14th, 15th, and 16th at 4 State Moto Complex. $15,000 payout between 250 and 450 pros.
What watch do you run on the bars?
great video, thanks for sharing. I prefer the zoom mic.
where did you put the gopro? that angle is fire
Day 1 of cheering on Jeff: Go Jeff!!
what tires are you using in these type of tracks jeff ?!
After watching you ripping, I thought: "is JWalk ever gonna ride SX again?" And I hope you get to do it again at some point! Just for fun, you know, no pressure
🕰️
For sound you could probably strap a go pro somewhere underneath your fender purely for sound pick up but I’m not too sure where it’d go. Saying that, the zoom seems to be pretty decent with bike sound
Awesome video, the mic sounds sooo much better , can hear how bad the GoPro is when flipping Between the 2, GoPro sounds like mic is in a box or waterproof housing compared to the mic sounds crispy clear 🔥
Get a DPA lav mic and you will have the best audio you can get. You already have great picture so the two together would be totally epic!!
watching in vr make it seem your one the one riding and its cool af
Hey Jeff, love your videos! I am just curious on what tire you love to run on these sand tracks?
Let’s go anotha vid hyped thanks jwalk
zoom sounds so good really get to hear that bike bark
Have you considered looking into an aim or mychron timing system that can do sectors to take some of the guesswork out of line choice
I also liked the Zoom mic. It sounded like I was actually riding.
go pro volume can be adjusted in editing pretty easily, I dont know anything about zoom though. good riding
Let that thing eat man!! Jeff is barkin for yessir
Fantastic Content. Thank You For Sharing. have a nice day!❤👍
What watch are you running
this audio is amazing. definitely worth keeping this audio recording style. you rip!
Zoom makes the bike sound like a monster
Jeff this is some serious riding i was riding a track yesterday and thought i was fast and was ripping but this is the first time i’ve actually noticed how insanely fast and good u are on the track. I hope i can get that good someday just gotta keep practicing but seriously keep it up dude!
What watch do u use?
How you Guys deal whit armpump?
Nice work man
could you imagine a 2stroke on that track with that mic it would make it way better actually hereing how it digs into the soft dirt. you should get another 2 stroke. Sometimes i'll go back and watch your old 2 stroke videos

Zoom audio seems like it has huge potential
Zoom mic sound much more smooth it’ll be a good add on to the channel!!!!!!
If you ever come through st louis check out ride organic. They are open on weekdays and have a pro mx track,Arena x track a sand track and a flat track that Jeffrey carver jr runs. I have a few videos of me tilling and ripping the pro mx track.
the audio is so good in the beginning i thought it was a voice over
What kind of speedometer is that
I love tracks like that can just let my 450 eat good 👍🏻 riding bro
Can you do a video on bike setup on sand tracks... what you change etc
I like the gopro audio a little better, although this video sounds quieter compared to some of the other ones. Probably just some editing for it being quieter
what brand of bike is yours?
Yo jeff, any tips for coops? I always crash there somehow... and they're gnarly crashes.
It’s a lot easier said than done, but you’ll find that the faster mph you can go, the easier it is to stay upright. I almost fall over multiple times when I’m on my sight-lap. Keeping your speed up makes it WAY easier to go straight
the zoom over all sounds better but the distortion at the top end is very hard to listen too. Im sure with some tweaking it will be better.
Not too ruff, but pretty deep ! How do you keep from getting pulled over here and there ? Just keep the front light and power on and ass over the back ? Sketchy sand . 🤪
we all know that kid who cross the track got ROOSTED HAAAARD BAHAHAHAHA
liked more the zoom audio, always nice to hear that 450 ktm out loud
9:29 almost dragging the handlebar 😮
We were there me and my friend were on the white and black yz 125s you were rippin
Once you get a less sensitive mic to fix the peaking the zoom will be amazing to addition to the videos
I do like how you can hear more in the video like the breaks squeaking, hard hits to the suspension, and other peoples bikes
Jeff I know you get asked this a bit but what bar bend are you running? I want a bar that is pretty straight with little sweep and bend!
Hey man! I run the Renthal 997. It actually had a fairly large amount of sweep…if you’re looking for a flat bar, take a look at the 996. That’s the most popular bend among the pro Renthal racers
@@JeffWalker84 thanks Jeff I appreciate the response!
which zoom mic is it ?
Hey man, when will u sell some more sm10 helmet cam mounts?
Come back out to cali! Gotta shred cahuilla again!
I can help you with the audio issues as well as optimizing the audio in post for best playback on TH-cam. Audio is my wheelhouse. Cheers!
The zoom sound so good please use the zoom more often
Well done. Greetings from Germany cool 😎
4:00 would have heard my motor right next to him.

The zoom is much better even with the clipping
Zoom a lot more realistic and intense I like it !! 😁
We love a good coops vid
