Don’t worry stay positive. Modi as a leader is unprecedented in recent times. We are blessed to have him who works 18 hours a day doesn’t take a single holiday, insists on taking night flights for his foreign trips so that he doesn’t waste day time in sleeping and resting, has a net worth of less than USD 1.5 lakh (which is the value of one single property he had purchased decades ago) and has donated even his pension fund of his earlier post as CM of Gujarat, to girls education fund

I have never heard or seen anything about India that is enough to turn me away. I wish I could come there and live, give up my home citizenship, and be a part of a truly wonderful culture and a wonderful part of the world. India needs Navic to be extended to cover all the areas where it might be used by the Indian military or Indian long range missiles. The coverage should therefore include the Indian ocean, Pakistan, China, where missile guidance may be required, and possibly Asean, Australia, the Gjlf, Red Sea, the West Coast of Africa, Tibet, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Myanmar, etc where supporting military action by India might be necessary.

Excellent video. I'm a big fan of Palki. As a developer of these navigation systems (I designed both transmitters and receivers of GPS, NavIC and QZSS), I cannot stop to point out the technical errors in the video.
    1. Any of the navigation systems (it can be GPS or NavIC) cannot tell what Indian restaurants are there. If these restaurants location is fed, then the navigation systems can just tell our position and velocity of the receiver and relative position with respect to the restaurant. It doesn't have information about places nor even routing. Places information and routing must be provided by other companies such as Google for the Google maps we use.
    2. You mentioned that GPS is single frequency. It is totally wrong. GPS signals are transmitted over three bands - L1, L2 and L5. All our commercial phones have capability for receiving only one frequency GPS signal. Hence, our phones are single frequency receivers. But there are many GPS receivers that work on all three bands. Typically receiving signals over multiple bands is very costly. Hence, these dual frequency receivers are limited to specialized applications like surveying and military.
Other points to note (Not technical errors)
    1. QZSS is regional satellite system of Japan. It is correct. But, they are not totally developed by Japan. Its technology is totally dependent on GPS. In Japan, because of high rise buildings and mountains, GPS signals are not sufficient. So, Japan built their own system that is suitable for Japan based on technology from GPS.
    2. Observe the distinction between "NaVIC" and "NavIC". Both are not same.

US proved its friendshipby not giving GPS access in hrs of need and motivating India to build a indigenous system.

Navic has been around for a while now, the lethargy on some bureaucrats the adoption is sluggish. Navic should be pre-requisite for planes, cars, phones and digital watches used or sold in India.
