I have been using these funny little attachments from outdoors gear essentials and that are perfect or though a little bulky and that fit on the sticks perfect outdoorgearessentials.co.uk/products/pole-cap-per-cap-for-lanshan-tents
Of course they work! They're absolutely amazing poles and I really like them for all my trekking pole tents. I just got Dan's Iceline poles as well; while they're a bit heavier, they're also trekking poles so you're going to save weight OR add trekking poles to your kit if you want them. To your point though, the Z-Flicks poles are just outstanding bit of gear. The Iclines will be more robust than these even, and these poles are typically much more robust than their competition.
Yeah pudge I know they have been out a while but I’d never seen anyone using them on other tents so you gotta shove them in and try it out woop woop. I just wanna be able to ditch the hiking poles once in a while & run a trail still knowing I have something lightweight with me to whack a tent up with. Sweeeeet.🤘🏻
Needed a CF tent pole for my Lanshan while bikepacking, as difficult to fit a walking pole on the bike. Used a rubber Garden Cane Cap at the top of the pole to stop movement, worked a treat.
@@bl1455if you import anything from Canada to UK and it’s less than £135 you don’t have to pay customs duty. Anything bought from Durston directly is shipped from Canada. Bought footprint and these poles from Durston directly and I paid no import charges.
Nice one, thinking of trying Dan's Iceline trekking poles next as my Leki Sherpa's are a tank. Loving the bouncy castles on yer' plates-of-meat gone to Hoka Speedgoat 5's me. (Check out my cw part 4 for more info) Cheers
Needs a tennis ball on top for the Lanshan! You'll need something on the foot too, if the ground is soft

I think I cut the vid talking about shoving a cap on it 😁 but didn’t think of using a garden cane cap 😂 cheers for that. Like it.
Nice one, definitely better to import, didn't get stung with any import tax on mine (unlike the tent 😅)
Well when import & export are run by government agencies you gotta love them taking there cut 🤬🤬😂
