Love to have your husband to build my new house
Oh thank you, very kind of you!
I am going to call it, even as a new viewer. Please, get an external mic or be aware of where your hand is. It's very hard to hear when your hand covers the microphone part of your phone.
Oh no worries I really appreciate that input!!! Sounds good. We will try to improve on the audio
It's snowing here today!!
@@Alaskan6pack Thankfully you didn't take that the wrong way. :) We had our first snow here in Edmonton Alberta today. Thankfully only a few flakes fell. Is it me or does it seem like it was just winter?
Oh no...I feel like it was just yesterday!
You are not alone😊
coscto is not always the cheapest.
Yes you are correct. Up here in Alaska though it's a pretty good place with great prices
When we used to live in Oregon I would go to Trader Joes and WinCo...but they don't have those stores here. Only Walmart, Costco, Fred Meyer, Carrs, 3 Bears...
1ST time watching one of your video's.
1 minute into the video~ I really gotta tell you your music was sad...made me feel like this was a sad time.
I will admit it kind of threw me off for a bit.
Ok, well we are definitely not sad in my family! Thanks for your input. We do a mix of songs on each video usually.
Let me know what type of music you enjoy
Hang on I'm confused your living off grid but you shop at huge stores and buying loads of stuff ... toilet paper? What about a composting toilet living off grid. If the shit hits the fan you guys are screwed
Hello there! I am curious, have you ever lived off grid?
@Alaskan6pack no I haven't lived off grid and probably misunderstood the meaning of it. Im really in awe of anyone who does especially where you live and the challenges you face with climate distances to travel etc. I'm just glad I can walk down to the shops to get what I need. Best wishes to you from the uk hope the coming winter is kind to you
Oh it's all good....! I have lived city life and am now living this way. So I enjoy helping others if they have questions or anything... it was a strange transition for me for sure a few years back. Thanks for watching us and supporting our channel. It is 5 degrees F this morning...getting cold for sure!!😊❄
@Alaskan6pack not much warmer here in the UK haha. I'll keep following I love seeing how people live in other countries wishing you all the best
Thank you for watching us!
Your prices in the U.S. are outragous....that stuff in Germany is a 10th of the price...you are all getting hugely ripped off. Let me guess you use your credit card to pay for it.
Nope. Cash or debit card. We don't charge stuff anymore. It's too much of a trap.
@@Alaskan6pack Omg, I almost died looking at your prices in the meat section....$6 (€5,70 ) here in Germany for the one you picked in the same weight. I wonder if those are union prices.
Not sure. We prefer wild game of course.
No luck this year so far.
We went to a local butcher shop the other day and got some better meat.
Thanks for watching,!
@@Alaskan6pack It is interesting....guess if I ever move there, will have to save my money because you go broke fast and looks to be you have to have a round figure for income to live....thanks for the video. For a family of 4 here in Germany I spend around €400 $450 a month ( and thats on the high end...I could do lower if needed and still live confortable. 49 cents for milk) . This is not by being a saver or shop only for what I need but also wants as well.
Wow. Yep save up. It's easy to go broke fast here.
Especially with food prices going up, etc...that's why we are trying to grow our own food. Hoping for a huge greenhouse next year
( if we can afford it)! Lol
Ok woah you said healthy soda s?? Is there such a thing!! Lol
Probably not. I still worry about what is in bubbly water. Oh well I guess it's better than soda! I don't drink soda, so every now and then when I do drink it, it's just too sweet for me...
Thanks for watching us!!😊
