@@Alaskan6pack We used to have two Sam's here, but when they did the nationwide cutback on locations, they axed both of them. I like Costco better (I shop @ Dimond) but when we had the Sam's Clubs, it eased some of the crowds at the Costcos. We do have FOUR Costco's in Anchorage if you think about it.. The two regular Costco's (Debarr & Dimond) the new Costco furniture & appliance store next to Dimond Costco, and now the huge business Costco out at Tikahtnu (it used to be one of the Sam's) If you pull up videos on the Anchorage Costco Business Center, a lot of locals have created videos on it. Well we are not rich by any means...I wish. We make every meal, shop frugal, go to thrift stores, and pinch pennies daily. But yes I agree, food is very expensive! We are saving our money up for another Costco haul soon
you stock up, drive 2 hours each way..what a waste to buy only 1 item..1 flat of beans, ione jar of mayo, one package of oats...this is not "stocking up".
I understand your take on it. However with our limited space and finances it is "stocking up" to us. We live simple and small. This has changed our definition of meanings and words. Hopefully you understand what I am saying... As we build more structures on this property and shelving my trips will be bigger... and more duplicate items Of course I would love to take home 4 carts worth of items, but there is limited space.( for now) Thanks for watching!😊
Good to see what you buy and how you spend your money at Costco. We do have it here in Australia but it kills it for me, I'm not going to pay something like $55 membership per year before I even start doing shopping. Interesting videos keep up the good work. Dennis J Sydney Australia 🦘

The fresh fruit here through the winter sometimes is not very good...so I like your suggestion!!
We just did a Costco shop yesterday in Anchorage
It will be posted on our other shopping channel hopefully this weekend!
@shoppinginalaska
😊
Do you have Sam’s up in Alaska ?
I don't think so. Just lots of Walmart, Carrs( like Safeway), and Fred Meyers...
Love your channel. 😊👍 p.s.. Freddie's does sell Duke's mayo (lots of it!) but I'd actually be interested in checking out that avocado oil based mayo you bought sometime..
Hello there and thank you for letting me know all that info about the stores! I have never shopped at a Sams club yet.
Thank you for joining our channel!
I can let you know how that avacado mayo is...have not used it quite yet...
@@Alaskan6pack Glad to have found you! 🤗
Yeah!!!
Hello😊
Hello Veronica! Thank you for watching us!!! 😊
That is not stocking up .that is just getting by.you need to double up on most of your staples
I absolutely agree. We are hoping for a big haul/ stock up before winter...we just have limited space right now in our tiny cabin! Thanks for watching!😊
Great Haul!!!!!!!
Thank you!!!😊
Loved the video.
Oh thank you so much!!! We appreciate you watching us! Hopefully another haul in a month or so!😊
Hey
Hello and welcome to our channel!!😊
Try making your own Mayo . I never buy it anymore
I am going to have Lily make some this week. I didn't like that I saw "bioengineered food" on one of the mayonnaise containers. It's everywhere..
So small of print too! Have to read labels on every item these days...crazy
I agree!
Just found your channel! Loved the haul, Diane from Rhode Island ❤😊
Hello Diane! Welcome to our channel!!!😊
u got to be rich to go to costco now
Well we are not rich by any means...I wish.
As we build more structures on this property and shelving my trips will be bigger... and more duplicate items
Of course I would love to take home 4 carts worth of items, but there is limited space.( for now) Thanks for watching!😊
Did I miss something she stocked up don’t make such a stupid comment 😢
@@Alaskan6packwhat the heck what. Dumb ass comment that person make where is there brain
@@sueojeda7277 i could see you driving 4 hours for the same...lol tell us how long it would last?
The oats were a 10lb bag the refried beans were a pack of 8 thats what i would call stocking up
Good to see what you buy and how you spend your money at Costco.
We do have it here in Australia but it kills it for me, I'm not going to pay something like $55 membership per year before I even start doing shopping.
Interesting videos keep up the good work.
