No. But it works to check the basics. It's not intended to try and break the transmission or make it slip. it's no better than running a car on the rack because you can't feel the shift quality, or if it slips under the weight of a vehicle. But who's really caring about shift quality with a single shift powerglide

What the pressure should be in reverse and do you check reverse at the port close to the tail?
In a truck transmission you can have a prognostic wonder if they can regulate the temp thru that valve body ib the control module (pan)

Can you just let your car ideal and it will cool itself in pits? The ideal will get the oil circulated at low stress...
