This is an amazing set of tutorials. Almost makes some of the tools of old obsolete. I know this sounds a bit late or maybe difficult to implement, but can a tutorial be made about bringing back the yellow switch function. I saw Overworld's video of it being restored in the pc port, but the description didn't click for me. I know it sounds stupid but can a tutorial like that be done?

It's actually pretty easy, yeah! It's basically just setting the behparam2 to 3 instead of 2 and also configuring some save flag stuff. I could make a mini tutorial for it later tbh. The models for the empty box and the switch are already in the game. Which also makes me theorize that the koopa shell was originally a cap switch power up, since that's the content that comes right after the metal cap.

@@rovertronic Yeah I think there were also green and red koopa shells as well, but I don't know if those were for the yellow block as well. It's kind of weird though since having the yellow switch would make the game a bit more challenging since you can't get as much stars by default so it encourages you to go to the yellow switch. Plus I think the yellow switch was made for the slide secret star. It looks like the absolute perfect place, just the way the end of the slide looks like a room for it. plus it has a yellow block there to. And it's the easiest to get with only 1 star like how SMW, it was easiest to get the yellow blocks.
