One very minute detail I noticed is that the water doesn't bob up and down like it usually does in water diamond levels. So I assume that it's all mostly custom.
The more you show, the more excited I am for this hack. I wouldn't be surprised if the next update will add redstone XD.

Random unsolicited suggestion: Those stairs at 3:19 are so quiet, I almost missed them watching you play. What if you added sfx triggers so ~makers~ engineers could play the secret jingle when something like that happens?
