My first docking in my new jetboat was awful. Bad chop, no thrust vectors. What a shit show. Thrust Vectors made a huge difference. last 3 docking were drama free. Thanks for the video. very helpful.
Excellent video Jay! One thing that most new boaters tend to forget is that the rear drives the boat. Also, last season you got to see the new 1.9 at the dealership when they came out, you ever worked out a deal with them to allow you to do a comparison and review. There is yet to be a good video on it on YT.
@MichalLempicki our boats shows are in February, so there's never an opportunity to try anything. Which Is why I was hoping for demo days. The dealerships actual demo boat that they let the salesman use has the 1.8L, otherwise I would have asked to take that one out.
Jay, I have the 2019 version of your boat which I also got from Team. My neutral tends to make the boat spin and is not float in one spot. I’m wondering if my buckets aren’t set properly. The 2019 has the true neutral and is identical to yours.
@joenepras8262 sounds like your buckets need to be adjusted. If you're creeping forward, lower the bucket. If you're creeping backwards, raise the bucket.
@jeffdill5050 I do not. I live on the Great Lakes. And I've never had overheating issues. Although, any boat could potentially overheat. I haven't heard of that being a common issue. Or an issue period.

@@MichalLempicki I was hoping to get out on the 1.9L during the dealerships demo days. Unfortunately, they never had their demo days this year.
@@SmoknJaysGarage ohh man that sucks. We have a boat show next month around me. Hoping to get on a 1.9 then.

I mean if you have the thrusters I think a child can dock it . Without it little harder
@denis8087 I actually prefer the Cobra Fins. But you're right, my 9 year old can dock it
Better yet don't buy a jet boat.
@jeffdill5050 why not? This is my second one, and I'll never go back to an outboard or stern drive.
@@SmoknJaysGarage To many over heat alarms. Do you run in salt water?
