    There are a number of videos out there discussing docking wake boats, but with your camera angles such as watching from a drone with an in picture video of what you are doing with the controls, I have found yours to be the most helpful. I also love details you provide without making the videos excessively long. I have searched quite a bit and have never found a video discussing how to approach complicated tasks such as docking when dealing with wind/current. I would love to see a video about how you approach various environments when the wind/current doesn’t allow for you to do the textbook technique. An example I am currently struggling with is going down a relatively narrow channel and then having to turn 90 degrees starboard when the wind hitting you directly from starboard to port. The boat just doesn’t want to turn very well in the room I have available. I have considered making a 270 degree turn (turning to port initially) so that I can use the prop wash in reverse to help get the boat around in the tight channel. I would love to see a video dealing with these sorts of problems.

      Thanks for the input. I appreciate your feedback. I can’t promise anything, but I’ll see what I can do.
      One problem I fall into is trying to film in bad weather. It becomes difficult to get done shots in excessive wind, etc.
      Have a great day.

    Great video! One memory I have I’ll never forget was picking up my buddys boat at end of day at lake havasu. There was literally a huge crowd watching everyone cheering and booing the boaters retrieving their boats. And of course I got the lane against a wall in the dark. We nailed it he drove on smoothly and I backed trailer down steep ramp. (There was like 8 lanes) but man launching and retrieving was stressful as a rookie back then! Lol.

    Great video! One note to check your local laws and ramp rules about power loading. In some states (like NH), it's illegal at most public ramps also can just be risky if you have a gravel or rock ramp

  • @fungus4758

    Great video. The one thing I would mention when loading any boat on the trailer is make sure you trim up the engine. I've lost count of how many times I've seen folks drag their engine(s) on the ramp ☹️

      @Sunni_days  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you 🙏. Good point. This video is with an inboard boat, so no trim to worry about. I might add that to another video in the future 😉.

    What is the orange guiding system on the front of your trailer?

    • @Sunni_days
      @Sunni_days  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey - Thanks for commenting. The orange guide is called a boat buddy latch. They are an option on Mastercraft boat trailers. Pretty slick, you can drive the boat up on the trailer and the latch will click into place when you are in the proper place on the trailer. Here is an Amazon affiliate link (see disclosure in my video description) for a similar latch system: amzn.to/3BmXyen

    I have the same style trailer and just picked up the same transom straps but realized I'm going to have to drill holes in the trailer, in about the same spot you have yours if I want to mount them. Do you have a video on your install or any tips? I'm concerned about damaging the structural integrity of the trailer. Thanks!

    Slow is def smooth, even to this day I have hard time to load a boat because I think I can do it fast but then it suddenly steers in wrong direction;) Curious to see how this boat wake compares to my boat, I am still accustomed to Super Sport Nautique. Would be good if you can review other boat wakes that you ride. I think there are a lot of people in used inboard market.

    Did you buy a new mastercraft? I thought you had an older Tige or something.

    • @Sunni_days
      @Sunni_days  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No, I didn’t buy a new Mastercraft. I wish we had a newer boat 🤔. This is actually one of my Subscribers that I’ve done some coaching for their family. They let me take it out to get some videos.
      My boat is actually and older Nautique. The prop spins the opposite way, so many of the driving techniques are opposite, I needed a different boat to make this video and they were kind enough to lend me theirs.

      Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. They are pretty slick and I personally like using them. However, I have seen many that get bent and don’t work properly because they are bent (people will ram them too hard). I don’t have it on my current boat and I’m fine with not having it.
