@@401Impala I get what you’re saying. Although I think you’re still missing the point of a pawn shop. He’s saying the owner can easily sell it. Pawn shops can sell stuff way easier than the average person, they have routine customers in store and online, as well as knowing collectors of all sorts. So if the owner has customers looking for starwars memorabilia or personally knows collectors (which I’m sure he does) he can easily sell it. The guy probably doesn’t have time to wait on finding someone himself to buy it for whatever it’s worth.. which is why he’s taking it to a pawnshop for a loss for instant money

I think the AP was real. He definitely missed out on it. This store owner does not know much about designer items as he says he does. Ive saw him turn down a couple of items because he thought that they were fake. He has gotten burned sometimes to the point its got him too paranoid.
@@chrs-gm3cwtell me why you think the AP was real? Spotting the AP fakes is really easy when you know the movement. It gets harder when it’s a good Franken with a genuine movement. But then you have to at least invest 5k for the real movement and only very few people do that and have the knowledge to do that. Those people would definitely not go to pawnshops, but present their pieces on very specific Internet forums. Everything that doesn’t use an eta movement is still extremely easy to spot when you know a bit about the movements. There are clones of the in-house movements these days and they aren’t that bad anymore but you can still spot them.
@@chrs-gm3cwYou can't tell if it's real, without looking at the movement. There might be indications for fake though, that can be spotted with a magnifiying glass. Nowadays, even the movement can be replicated, in high grade copywatches. Not having the box and papers of a $ 33k watch, is of course a bit suspicious.

Leaving the kid a like😊, you manage to be respectful, but still not take any BS.
Makes me smile to see the kid being so into his cards.
how did you leave the kid a like ? where's his link to his whatever ? i wanna leave a like too lol
Yeah same what's this channel how can I give a like to that kid bro?
Much respect , I like your tone and overall demeanor while interacting with a potential customer presenting knock -off merchandise .
As soon as he invoked his grandfather, I knew it was fake.
This guy is just down to earth, humble, and kind. We need more people like him. Just a solid human being.
Dude, you’re so genuine. It’s nice to see really good people make really good content. I’ve been watching this for hours.
Same lol. I haven’t slept.
Refreshing to see a normal person running a pawn shop. None of that "Oh your item is worth 1000$? I'll give you 12$".
How can I even make money if I pay you $20? I can only sell it for $900!
That's SO TRUE!
This isn’t a pawn shop.
@@KhaosNeutral it sure seems like a pawn shop to me...
@@garygrant6340he doesnt hold onto items for the purpose of selling them back to people. he gets the items and puts them up for sale in his store and the internet as quickly as possible. he's a reseller, not a pawn shop.
Buddy the fact you gave us the time link to the content were here for instead of just having us watch other content we are interested in is such a big man move. Subscribed brother.
The light saber would "easily sell for $300.00" ...so easily in fact, i took it to a pawn shop to receive less than half that!!
I though the guy was pretty cool and genuine all things considered
Sometimes instant money is what people need..kinda the whole reason people bring stuff to a pawn shop lol
Disney sells them for like 300$ at Disneyworld... But you can find much better ones you can truely customize online.
@@RandySavages key word being EASILY. If it was EASY, you wouldnt need a pawn shop.
I love watching the scammers crumble in front of you, so entertaining!
Man I remember the pawn shop circuit I used to maneuver through back when I was using heroin.. the amount of sheer Bullshit that would come out of my mouth back then, all the lies the stories, the scenarios the ordeals and complications 😬 shit was real bad and I often times think back to it and cringe heavy with self embarrassment lol. Went from being homeless to running my own buisness and moving my mother in with me, almost a M but lost everything this year from a supplychain scam and yet I’ll Never to back to it.
Love these videos and even with the reminiscent cringey memories I still enjoy seeing these 🤙
Congrats on the clean time mate. Hope you get back on your feet financially

I rarely like videos, this one deserves it.
Thank you dear sir.
How have I not discovered this channel sooner?!? I could watch this guy do business for hours
Just found your channel recently and I personally love the interactions around 16:43, where you give the guy a decent deal based on your trust in him through your relationship.
This channel is as legit as it comes.
I love the random traffic accident footage towards the end. This video really has a bit of everything.
Like most here, I appreciate you directing us precisely to the part of the video that relates directly to the title! I still watched the entire video but it’s nice to have all the info and the opportunity to choose! Too many duplicitous click bait titles out there that waste your time. It’s nice to know that some people advertise what is in the video accurately and not just to draw people in!
Honesty, integrity and still fun to watch! Subscribed!
27:40 Yeah in my experience the more “designer” and branded shot people wear, the less money they have and the more likely it is what they’re wearing is fake as a nine Bob note (£9 note, which obviously don’t exist).
Its troubling to see so many dishonest people in our world. Im glad to see someone very capable is dealing with them.
Because everyone is becoming poor and food is three times the price.Dont get me started on housing

The people who control you are the most dishonest in the world. Divide & conquer
"Oh yeah, obviously - thats how business goes".
I nearly fell out of my seat LOL
What a fraud
Trying to scam this man is like trying to cut through a wall with a plastic spoon it just won't happen he knows his job and he's a good man. I'm dropping a like for that kid as well he's smart and he knows what he's doing i hope he gets the card good luck little guy.

I love the way this man does business. Honest and forthright
Also sending a like for the little dude and your generosity towards putting that smile on his face.
First time watcher, just want to say, I really appreciated the fact that you gave the time to where the scam part happens off the bat. Great respect for your audience and I love that. I'm going to watch the whole thing but just had to comment this. That part alone made me give the video a Like even before watching.
A like for the little man!
Love how you foster community- Never would have known you from Adam before this video, but how you interact with people tells SO much about you. All the love, friend!
I've watched thousand of TH-cam videos and yours is the only one I can think of off the top of my head which starts with "to skip to the part you wanna watch, go to..." Bravo sir. No BS 👏
Leaving a Like for that little fellow, just adorable and kind of you to give him a deal. So glad you caught on to the watch fellow. I am a retired high end fashion designer. If you looked closely his leather bag was a knock off ... the zippers were crooked. His clothing most likely well made Knock Offs as well. Glad you caught on because a person that was decked out in authentic designer clothing would know how much a watch like that costs and would know about Designer consignment websites/or shops but of course just like you they Authenticate before taking an item. His mumbling about a car made No sense. You handled that wonderfully.

no skipping for me, love every minute of your videos Peter, one of my favourite TH-cam channels - love it
When I didn't see the scammer advertised in the title within the first minute I was about to give a thumbs down and click the video off and about that time you gave the time in this video where that part would be found. So I watched the whole video and gave you a thumbs up and subscribed. So many videos are A I now and clickbait fake titles and outright lies. You certainly stand out from all those. Well done.
The way this guys just time stamped was such a flex. Got a subscriber for sure.

You earned my like and sub just for telling us at the beginning the time stamp for the scammer. Thanks for your honesty.
You hit the nail on the head with that RO and the fake dressed scammer. As hard as he tried, and it appeared he thought he had pulled the wool over your eyes.
He said several things that raised red flags! A buddy of mine just got back from Vietnam and brought a replica RO back, simply because it was so close to the real thing! Comparing it with my real one, it was hard to tell them apart, minus opening it up. Great video.

anyone who could afford to wear the genuine clothing wouldn't need to sell stuff at a pawn shop. That is a dead giveaway that he's a faker.
@@userac-xpg not always. I've given a few nice watches away to employees of mine over the years. Some of them have pawned or sold them at PShops. Just because someone wears a 10 or 60 thousand dollar watch isn't always a dead giveaway that it's fake.
@@userac-xpgthat's not totally true, everyone has hard times, could have inherited the stuff, could have stolen it, stolen merchandise is just merchandise at a discount with larger profit margins that can go to you or someone else!
