My favourite has to be the accidental Wes Anderson of Osaka castle! Wow!!

Haha! Same here. Got real lucky with that composition. Perks of having a lighter camera hehe.

Like your videos a lot! Vivid as the colors of your photos and reflect the (highly touristic) atmosphere of the places you show. Interested to see more remote areas in this style and that you catch there the Japanese lifestyle (which is more than the shopping craziness of Shinjuku and Ginza:))

Hey Christoph, appreciate the kind words. Yea, Osaka and Tokyo are highly touristy places and are always packed haha. I do have two videos, one in Kamakura and the other at Mt. Fuji & Lake Kawaguchiko that depicts the slower paced life of Japan. Check them out if you haven't already.

Wowzers. Amazing set. I can't believe the saturation you're getting from this film! Favourite has to be either the Wes Anderson, or the Glico billboard just for the amazing colours.
What's the film situation over there? I can't decide on stocking up in the UK before we leave and risking the airport scanners, or buying over there. They at least seem to have stock, even though it's expensive - I don't think I've found anywhere with Portra 400 in stock in the UK!
I'll probably stick with colorplus tbh, maybe treat myself to some Ektar for a Fuji sunrise.

Haha! Really appreciate the kind words Jamie. Especially in strong/bright lighting, Kodak ColorPlus 200 just pops and becomes stunning. You are right! They seem to have quite a number of film stock with slightly expensive prices - handy when you've been shooting like a mad man and ran out of film haha. When I fly, I try to get the security people to hand check my film rolls. Most of them are nice enough to check. Wow even at these exorbitant prices they're out of stock in UK!? Loads of film shooters there eh?
Good choice. Hoping you'll have an amazing time in Japan and that Fuji-san isn't shy.

She's living the dream! After walking the Ninja Turtle apprentice, she puts the little terrapin in a beanie and carries it around like a baby.

Hey Dennis! I shot these photographs with a Leica M4-P with a Leica Summicron 35mm F2. The film I used is Kodak ColorPlus 200.
