Blackberry Smoke sold a barge full of records with ZERO radio play, for good reason. They have become my favorite band and Charlie Starr, aside from being ultra talented, is the epitome of a southern gentleman. Glad to see him on one of my favorite shows. And to anyone thinking the looks nervous.

BBS is my secret weapon for getting people's attention at gatherings. Especially this song. Many turn and can't believe they didn't know who they were. Charlie's the man, and Daryl always hits the mark with his invites and all the musicians in the room that complete a great show.

I saw BBS last week with Turnpike Troubadours. One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Charlie is unbelievably talented.
Started listening to BS when they first came out. Been to many concerts. My favorite band ever. Charlie is an amazing talent.

Blackberry Smoke was just a bar band the first time I saw them, I could tell they had something really special. It's been fun watching their dreams come to fruition.

Unbelievable performance…Charlie Starr is one of the greatest Southern Rock musicians to ever play…if BlackBerry Smoke had formed 10 or 15 years earlier than they did, we would be talking about them in the same vein as The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc

I've chased Bob around the metro Detroit area since 1967 at 15 years old to present. (67 now.) High schools to the then-gritty bars around Ann Arbor to the small civic centers, THEN to major venues like Pine Knob and Cobo Hall, even the tri-state regions. PROMISE ratings for THAT gig on your show will explode!

@@DavidS-rb2rj Semi. Last few years he's pulled off a couple "tours", which are basically our tri-state area. Bob has to rely on his backup singers more now, a couple songs, he's done with, but he can still hang with most of them. He'll always be Michigan's native son. Just a class guy.
This song is one of my top three right next to Stairway to heaven and Tuesday's gone
I saw Blackberry Smoke open for ZBB years ago and loved them. I saw them again as headliners at Sweetwater and they kicked ass...again. They're almost like a cult band with not a lot of attention and when you meet another BBS fan you feel connected. They're sooo good! And man, this is one of my favorite songs...well done boys!

You need to fo back to the vaults and watch from the beginning! So many test shows with artists in didn't even know and found them to br great... Amd then there's the ones like grace potter,joe walsh,billy gibbons and cheap trick.

Charlie star, not rough to say. Blackberry smoke is one of the greatest bands to see live if they ever come within 100 miles from you……..GO see them! Listened to this band a lot after my 2nd deployment in Iraq, surprisingly this band goes great with a bottle of bourbon in your hand
I love that fire roasted chef! What gem. I think Daryl needs some female voices in his "house parties" I'm available and I can cook. Btw I met Daryl and John Oates a few times back in the early 80's. I worked at the Hit Factory and my lovely roommate worked for Tommy Mottola when he managed musicians and H&O was his biggest client. Oh the memories.
