- Today I bought the cheapest Audi R8 in the country from Facebook marketplace . This is the beginning of the a car challenge series where I will attempting to mod the Audi R8 so it is able to be jumped off my ramp. Hope you enjoy we had a lot of fun making this one!

@@Adam-M1believe it or not but there are a lot of people in this world who could never dream of spending 26k on a cad and it’s not just 26k it’s the grands for brakes, clutches and every other expensive part. I have an r8 and earn decent money and I still struggle to keep up with the costs of these types of cars

Cheapest? bought and sold on recently , running well v8, had split in front bumper and one alloy damaged £8k sold it for quick sale £14k.
Hard to watch people destroying car on purpose just because you’re rich. Considering the previous owners might treat the car carefully. But your money your choice.

@Mark McCann For ESP I believe you have to hold the button for a 5-10 seconds and it should completely turn off. Atleast that is the way my S4 does it. It displays a different message when you do it this way.
The traction control did you keep hold of the ESP button instead of just pressing it? Some times you need to hold them to completely turn it off

So the R in R8 stands for Rally
The offroad section shows why AWD is not 4WD. Unless you have a locker (which is extremely rare in AWD), as soon as you lose traction on one front and rear wheel, you are 0 wheel drive. If you lose traction on a front wheel, you are no better than a RWD with any sort of non-slip diff.
Its shining star is when all wheels have grip or lose grip.
I know the offroad stuff doesn't apply to this car, but it does to any SUV.

You can get rid of traction control completely if you pull the fuse as far as i'm aware,, will probs get rid of your ABS too though!

I think that some sort of rally suspension would be epic 😄
Ok so a quick look suggests the R8 has double wishbone suspension and magnetic dampers
And the allroad has air bags... Obviously anything is possible but that seems a silly swap now
However I don't see why you couldn't modify the existing R8 top mounts to give you a suspension lift... But that's probably daft too,

Love it rot box 2 I used to work as part of Audi press office to turn esp of you have to push and hold the button and it will turn off completely. I’ve stripped and rebuilt a fair few of them. Keep up the amazing work mate.
