    I installed one on my Silverado. Didn’t notice much power increase but did notice a little better mileage and a nice throaty sound.

      Doesn't make any difference until you tune it

    Great tutorial! Did this on my 2019 JGC and I had no issues other than trying to figure out how to get that damn plastic cover back on 🤔 It literally wont snap back on!!!

      Thank you! That is really funny because it took us forever to get the cover back on too. What is up with that Jeep?

    Is this disrupting the functioning of the engine over time?

    Great video! We recently fitted the K&N CAI on a 2016 SRT, if the sticker doesn't add 10hp, I really thing the intake makes a difference!

    Just installed mine, quick question. When you shut it off does it sound like there some release of pressure or a quick whoosing sound?

    Did you find that your temperature sensor fitting was lose compared to stock. I had to add one wrap of electrical tape around the fitting/rubber gasket to make it snug.

      Russell Roberts yes, it was really weird. I’m glad yours was like that too

      Yes. I have the exact same problem. Held in with duct tape right now. But it falls out otherwise...

      What’s a more permanent solution for this? Some RTV silicon? You guys are talking about the O2 sensor into the intake tubing, correct? I’m about to install this today.

    at 6:54 did you just cut the hose off and replace it with a new one? if so can you give me the size and measurements

    • @92813justin
      @92813justin  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No cutting. We used a flat head with a sharp angle to pry the hose off

    Does it slightly vibrate during idle after installation? Mine has a slight vibration now, but the RPMs remain normal. Thanks!

    I’m looking into a CAI for my 2019 high altitude. Does this void any warranties?

    Who tf thinks that a shorty flathead screwdriver is quicker than a ratchet...
