This video is so useful! I love to hand sew gifts for my friends and I got a lot of inspiration from this video. Also, am I the only one who finds her voice extremely relaxing? Love the video! ❤️
It will be here before we know it. I’m going to get my granddaughter , who is six, to make the hair ties for her friends. She’d be so proud of them. She can slide them into a Christmas card and hand them out. We’ll have a blast. I love that you included things that are easy enough for even a child to make.
Ahhh, that is such a wonderful idea! Christmas card idea is great, a sweet gift that will be very cut, but also does not make anyone feel uncomfortable or obligated. I will upload the tags for hair ties for Members tomorrow :)
Oh my gosh, such neat ideas!! Thank you! A friend of mine here in my town has a store and is wanting me to help him with his store. Meaning he is thinking of doing consignment again, and no one here in town is a quilter that he knows of, so he asked me if I would be willing to help him out and my reaction was, ''yes, I certainly can''. It will not only help me get my name out there but also help get folks into his store. So, win-win for us both!! And these ideas would work out perfect especially to make and sell for around the upcoming holidays. :) Thank you for the video.
Wow, this is a really great video. And I totally agree with the presentation of the gifts. You are a wonderful instructor because your enthusiasm shines through. Thank you! ❤️
These are some of the best gift ideas, home-sewn/made, that I have seen. Love the packaging too. I always love wrapping gifts beautifully and they are especially appreciated by the recipients. Thanks for the video.
While watching your cat coasters being made I envisioned doing the same except the batting 1/4 inch shorter. Then see right at the edge of the batting when sewing 2 pieces together. Turn right side out, finish closing, but have all the hem NOT TURNED UNDER so you can pull threads to make cat hair fringe. I'm not sure I explained this well. Thanks so much for all your inspirations.❤🤩
Forget gifts, I can sell this stuff. 😁 The packaging makes it look more professional than home made. The sock idea is also good for those who can't fit the averrage size sock. Thanks for sharing this with us 😊
@@Annalorraine2x around $35-40 for plaid type of scarf. Hair ties. $10-13 headband $8-11. Depending on the fabric. Tiny bows you could sell them for 50 cents
@@BeeWhistlerI agree. I have a booth at my local Farmers Market, and there is no way I could charge those prices. I would have to source supplies to give example prices for all. But i donmake a similar headband, and I charge $5 gor it. And put them on sale from time to time bc at $5 they sell slow.
I have a band like the ones from the first tip but I just wear it as a bracelet, so if the person you're giving it to has shorter hair or just isn't a ponytail person, they can wear them as bracelets too!
Whew! I'm exhausted just watching you! These are great projects and so well presented. I'm looking forward to making infinity scarves for the girls in my life! Thank you!
Oh no, I hope you're exhausted in a good way :) he he, I did not mean to pile it up, I just wanted to make an inspirational video of handmade gifts. Yes, infinity scarves are awesome, I wear A LOT of those during fall/winter and spring, too.
@@ThoughtfulCreativity I'm definitely inspired and motivated by your amazing video! Your quick projects videos are some of my favorites that you do. It wasn't at all too long - I love having the varied options you share. You really make sewing seem so do-able. Thank you so much! 💖
Beautiful and brilliant ideas for gifts, will be making many of them for my family. Love how you explain each step of the way too. Brilliant, many thanks.
Great Video! I've used most of the ideas in the past, but I still got a couple of new ideas. I want to pass along a "guy" gift idea. My husband plays golf and I made him a zippered bag from denim from a pair of old jeans. He puts his keys, wallet etc in it and then puts it in his golf bag. His golf buddies saw it and commented on it, so I made bags for them. They were a big hit.
I’m new here, but I just want to compliment you on your creativity and vibrant energy. Also: It would be great to see some of your items modeled. I just think I could decide which ones I like best, if they were actually on somebody. I’m loving your videos, so THANKS!!💜
Wow I’m going to do the hair ties one for myself, I’ve prebought some of them before but cutting them and tying them myself will save a lot of money :)
I like to make really long straps that wrap all the way around the bottom of the tote just to ensure really strong straps that will support heavy loads
Lovely ideas. I especially loved the headband with the knot at the front - I was expecting it to be tricky but was pleasantly surprised! No-one I know really uses headbands, but I changed my hair recently and have been looking for cute accessories so I'll make one for myself!
Regarding your scarf with the fringe - in order to stop continual fraying it would be a good idea to a) run a zig-zag stitch close to the edge, and b) tie the fringes in knots.
Another wonderful video with great ideas and tips! All the projects are wonderful and pretty and easy to do which I like lol Thank you so much for all that you do for us all you are a great teacher! You are very thoughtful and caring! You are a beautiful person inside and out! Thank you for Sharing Hugs Liz x
Yes, you have a great Bunch of Ideas! As you were showing them, I was making my list of who would like which idea. Now, to make that list into reality before Christmas!!
Thank you for a great video. While the rest of the world experiences Christmas in cold, snowy weather, here in South Africa, its very hot weather! What cute table decor and gift can I make for warmer weather?
Love your ideas, your packaging and those absolutely gorgeous prints! For the coasters: since batting can be a bit pricey and I just wanted to make a small set of coasters for myself, I simply used 1 layer of crafting felt fabric :) Btw I can't wait to make some knot bandanas for myself! Perfect scrap buster for all those knits in our stashes :)
Thank you for another amazing video! I love all your gifts and extra ideas. I have to mail all my gifts this year so I'm glad you're getting me thinking now
I love watching you. Your methods are easy to see and your voice is soft and encouraging. I noticed a CC saying what you could make for men. I need ideas for male family members. I know the ladies/girls will love everything I do but I am always stumped with the males. Have you a video that deals with this? I really can't get it together. Hope you can help. Craftyv.
If you make a pouch with insulation,, you can make reusable lunch bags. I would recycle insulated shopping bags, especially if they have ripped. Reuse instead of throwing away.
Yor work is awesome thank you for sharing pleased to hear you use inches and not cm I can't get my head around them with being an older person lol God bless you 😀

I love that you do these with each of the steps on its own video.
I’ve not had my sewing machine out for years! You’ve inspired me to dust it off & get sewing again........thank you! 🙏😁
