Elle a compris que les gens ne vont pas au concert pour s'emmerder mais pour s'amuser. De plus elle doit elle-même beaucoup s'amuser. C'est un vrai plaisir de la voir ( et de l'entendre, bien sûr)

Au fond, les françaises n'arrivent pas à se lâcher vraiment, question d'éducation peut-être. La diva allemande Diana Damrau en donne une version où elle réussit à transcrire le charme de la folie féminine.Mais peut-être qu'un français préfèrera la version de Damrau, et inversement

La naïveté du personnage, voila ce qui manque ici, c'est à dire l'essentiel. Il faut du courage ou du talent pour réussir à montrer l'âme du personnage. Ici, tout est recouvert par le masque de l'apparence, du mauvais calcul et par conséquent le but n'est pas atteint, à savoir que nous éprouvions de la joie.

The best Cunegonde in Candide is Kristin Chenoweth!!! Character, voice and performance - all those things merge into one whole one.
Chenoweth is briliant , no doubt . and she does here I am in paris .. francevlike only an American can . But this performance has a Lucille Ball quality I love and the wind creates an an interesting ambience

1. Look at her neck - it's straining. The neck must be relaxed!
2. Her jaw, and shoulders - stiff and full of tensions.
3. Her tongue - it's shaking. It should not! It's also the reason for her wide, siren-like "vibrato".
4. Her mouth - it must never be spread like that in operatic singing. It makes the voice shrill and unpleasant.
