Bandai has never handled Digimon properly. Its an IP they would have already scrapped or sold if it wasn't for the fandom''s overwhelming voice and willingness to speak with their wallets. Bandai has also been mistreating all of their IPs for the past decade (Gundam iykyk, Dragonball, etc.) which exacerbates their treatment of Digimon. Its baffling from a business standpoint since their IPs are all guaranteed money makers, especially Dragon Ball. My personal theory is they have been mishandling their factory properties, and the costs for maintaining their monopoly over plastic models in Japan, leading to neglect in all other areas since they make the majority of their income from collectables.

one piece player here, that first minute was gold lol. ive been an LGS worker for around 3 years now and have been able to see just how bandai screws over every game they make and its rough. the side bitch comparison is the realest shit ive ever seen lol
I live in Ohio, and I will definitely drive to New Jersey or Virginia for store regionals if i get in.
Really feels like Digimon TCG is a product Bandai would rather drop to focus on their more popular titles (i.e. One Piece) but they know that if they do, people will drop every game they have immediately. So rather than end support for the game, they'll just not support it and then claim that "Digimon isn't popular enough etc. etc"
I am not a Digimon player by any means, but it does suck seeing that Digimon TCG was the starting point for the Bandai TCG Renaissance of the 2020s, but they're not giving it as much love as One Piece or Dragonball.

I'm really hoping they figured the interest in the store regionals would be lower, and next time around they'll do more/bigger now that they see the interest.
It really feels like a “set the bar low so we can say we exceeded expectations” thing. But is that really necessary when it’s constantly show that Digimon are absolutely starving? Smh

@@Rayquaza894 I have seen people in my locals do so. Not saying everyone has I’ve seen people drop Digimon for one piece
@@Snuffalaffagas more so on that the reprints were not very meaningful with the blind boxes. Wheb you decide to reprint a bunch of useless cards and kinda force people to whale it’s not player friendly, imagine if RB01 had a bunch of vanilla Digimon in it and not could be fringe playable and reprint promos.
