I was very successful losing weight on the classic plan. I like it because I’m more a calorie counter. It’s a life style. Your not supposed to stop. It’s totally correct to go back. We have to learn to eat moderately. It’s not easy, I know from experience. That’s why I go back. WW is for life.
The slower that you lose weight, the longer you’ll keep it off. Keep up the great work! You definitely can get off for the rest of your life, I did that for about 20 years, now I am much older and homebound, losing some of the weight that I gained. God bless you
Love your mindset about weightloss. Sustainability is key because the constant gaining and losing is hard on the body AND the soul. I was inspired by you to start WW in early September. I did really well....until mid December. Struggling in a huge way to get back on track. It's a lot harder to re-gain discipline than it is to re-gain weight! UGH. I'm praying for 3-5 consecutive really, really good days this week because I think that would reset my mind and get me back in the game.
So glad I found your channel. I was told I was prediabetic last Fall so I did keto but binged during the holidays. Same here as others that I’ve been doing some kind of diet since the 70’s and I don’t want to get to diabetic stage and Thank God after doing keto after New Year’s that I’m out of the prediabetic stage. I realized that I DON’T want to be watching what I eat so strictly as in keto so I came back (like the prodigal son) to WW yesterday and now realize that this is a better fit for me. I know, and my doctor reenforced it too, that MODERATION is key. I’m so happy to get fruits, beans and corn back and I’m being very careful with them even though they are 0 points. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I’m so glad I listened to you here. I have been losing and gaining the same 100lbs on and off for years. I have done all the diets. I agree with your mindset and probably will be saving this to listen to this when I am struggling. What you said about having your treats and also tracking them is exactly what I need. I struggle with a binge ED. And allowing myself to have my favorites but in moderation is key. Love this! ❤
You are doing really great Colleen! I do not deny or restrict either. I am eating whatever I want in moderation and for me I feel this is a more sustainable way of losing weight and keeping it off. I have lost over 70lbs in the last 2 years so It is coming off very slowly but I am okay with that. I still have some weight to lose but I don't have a certain amount, I will just keep going until I am at a place where my body and I feel comfortable. I really appreciate you sharing how you are doing in your journey, as It is very helpful because I think we can all learn from each other and give each other support. I hope you and your family have a wonderful week. 💕 Helen
Oh my gosh, yes, you can Pray for me. Disabled with severe spine pain, fibromyalgia, and a couple of other things. So happy to meet a fellow Christian!
Woohoo i am super glad i found your channel. I just started back on WW from many many years ago. I needed the accountability that WW provides but I too don’t do the fat free stuff. I do sugarfree but i have been eating that way for other health reason not weight loss. Thank you for this video and i can’t wait to get this journey restarted 🎉
I’m so happy for you! I will say that I use the Nintendo Switch Ringfit game for workouts after walking. There’s this one workout that focuses on that tricep part of your arm. It’s actually pretty fun once you create a few workout slots and get into it. The Nintendo also has a boxing game which is a great workout for your arms. I just can’t get into a workout if it’s boring and these routines aren’t boring! Thanks for being so encouraging and such an inspiration 🤍✌🏻🙏🏻☀️
I am so glad I came across you. I feel the same way that you do about low fat, no fat, processed food etc. So many processed foods have sucralose or MSG OR aspartame etc. These chemicals give me a terrible headache. Makes WW not as easy to do. I am trying to eat whole foods. So happy to have found someone doing WW like me. Thanks
I use WW to keep me accountable in that those in attendance are all oriented toward a healthy life and weight loss. I use MyfitnessPal and am practicing a Keto / WW mix. I'm active and try to stay at 1200 calories for sustainable weight loss. I, too, have had at least 4 WW memberships...
I loved this. I am doing WW for the umpteen time. The holidays were a struggle but I am back on plan. I loved your concept of eating cleaner and not denying ourselves of things we love. I agree with preparing things ourselves and getting away from so many processed foods. I hope to plant my garden this year, something I haven't been able to do for a couple of years due to surgeries. I too need to work on my water intake. Thanks for sharing so much with us. My weigh in is Wednesday..I will let you know how I did this week. Have a blessed day. 🤗🤗
I'm glad I found you. You have the same philosophy that I do. I've gone to WW about 10 times. Always gained it back. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, I'm 64 and my feet are so bad that I'm not supposed to walk more than 10 minutes at a time. I gained more weight lately too, because not having my RA med because of breast cancer surgery and a tough recovery. Was an invalid for 2 months, until I could have my RA med.! I pondered WW and am like you with not liking alternatives sugars, flours, milks, etc. We dairy and it's sinful to drink any other milk than cow's milk. Ha! I just can't. I've cut out sugars because it causes more RA pain. I try moderation but it's tough to lose, but I'm not giving up. You are so wise to keep working at it and walking while you can. I love your channel and this was the first one!
Great job and video! January was roller coaster for me but from first weigh I’m till last Jan weigh in I lost 1.4 lbs for the month. At least it’s a loss! This is first weigh in for February and I lost 5.2 lbs! Praying it’s the beginning of consistent loss. Every time I get near TWOville I gain! Praying against a gain next Sunday. I’m 1.5 lbs away! I did well with tracking good bad or ugly so I’m pleased with that!
Great job! So happy for you! I had great success on WW years ago. I recently joined again after watching your WW videos but this time I am feeling quite defeated. It’s much harder this time around. I wonder is menopause plays a part? Hoping you be more consistent. Thanks for taking time to make these WW update videos! ☺️
I loved your video, and I love your philosophy with Weight Watchers and health food. I am on the same journey. Your story sounded exactly like mine. I am just getting started again with trying to be serious of getting 30 pounds off. I look forward to seeing your recipes and some of the things that I’ve helped you to be successful,
Congratulations on all you've accomplished and being willing to share the journey! I know your journey has been an inspiration to so many! I finally hit the 10lb mark, so that was a huge milestone for me. I'm also on the slow track trying to make lifestyle changes for the whole family.
Excellent video.I agree with about the processed foods that is not sustainable or healthy. Can I ask what collagen do you use? Do you have a link. I have arthritis and would like some relief if possible. Thanks !
They are, but if you eat more healthy foods, your calories will be lower. Many people have stalled in weight loss because of eating too few calories per day. So for people experiencing a plateau, tracking calories with points can be extremely helpful to see why it’s happening.
Pray that I can lose weight! Been working so hard in the gym and nothing is working! Pray that God will give me self control and help me stay within a 1500 calorie daily budget

It is extremely hard to get back on track. What helps me in those cases is meal planning so I can track in advance until I get back in the habit.

Thank you for sharing. I’ve only lost 13 lbs in 5 months. I have 12 to go and hopefully I can lose it before another 5 months lol
I really think slow and steady is best for long term success!
