Thank you! I’m using the Passionate Penny Pincher Home Planner. I briefly showed it in a previous video: th-cam.com/video/BPVR0d0CKUY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=k0p_JH_zKCtaBoA0
I keep a running list as a note on my phone. But if I get to the store and the price is higher than I want to pay, I switch plans on the fly. I also buy ground beef by packages of 50 pounds when I can. My daughter raises chicken for both meat and eggs. The eggs I get for free. The chicken I pay for but only her cost. I also severely limit my use of convenience foods. I shop sales too with digital coupons when I can.
It's an app that came with my phone. Called Samsung Notes. You can add as many notes as you wish. My daughter has a different app but the same kind of thing
I have an android phone and use Google keep for all my lists. It is great and syncs between all devices. It is easiest to do a reorganize and add master using a laptop over a phone or tablet.
We are shopping in bulk when we stay with friends as even though we are only in a location for a certain time we have more ppl so it’s cost effective!!! We are finding we use stuff quickly!!! I so pack snacks we have bought in a location for the next location!!! We’ve been eating a lot more fruit since we left Japan!!! I bought fruit in Japan but Aussie fruit is much nicer!!! We have a master food shop list and even tho we aren’t at home but we are in Australia I m using it!!!
I shop Really good sale items And only absolute necessities. Then when I get home and unpack everything I'm still planned from my purchases and what is in my refrigerator and freezer and cupboards. Meal planning ahead of time has always cost me more money.
I make my meal plan based on what I already have and need to use up. That way I’m only buying the minimum for the week plus staples that we are low on.
I try to buy just a few things at Ingles so that we get the fuel discount. My pocketbook can't handle their prices. I have learned to shop once a month for meat too. It makes a difference, and I have adjusted to working from the freezer. We used to eat out 2-3 times a week but now it is between 1-2 times a month (sometimes even less). We had a farmer that we purchased all of our meat from when we lived at the beach. I miss that, I am trying to find a local farmer in the area that we can use to stock up the deep freezer. Your floors are so pretty. I know you are enjoying this house.
hey girl- love the video! Great tips 😉 and great hauls😀 Have a blessed night🥰
Thank you! You too! 💕
Love that master grocery list. I started using one a few months ago and it saves so much time!!
It really does! I’ve done it for years!
What planner do you use? Do you have a video on it? I love your videos😊

Thank you for the ideas. I have been trying to meal plan more to cut down on trips to the grocery store.
It does really help with that too. 💕
I have a notepad with all of the things I make categorized too! It makes planning so much easier!
It really does!

Free eggs would be a huge savings!

@@Cecilia-fc3sg I will look into it. Merci beaucoup.
I just got a phone. Please share the note and reminder apps with me. I think they would be quite beneficial!
Your kitchen is lovely. Great storage.
Both of the apps come automatically on an iPhone. I’m not familiar with android phones. They are labeled “Notes” and “Reminders”.
I wish I had a master grocery list on my phone
It really helps!

Hi Colleen....yes we have meal plans and buy accordingly too. It sure helps I think. Thanks for the visit. Have a good week. ❤
Thank you! You too!

The master list makes things so much easier!
Another great video! Thank you! Hope you have a blessed week!
Thank you! You too! 💕
I need to learn how to use the notes app. I like how you do your “bank” of recipes. Have you done a video of how you cook your whole chicken?
I’m not sure but I definitely could do one. 💕
@@simplejoyfilledliving that would be great!
Just found a video where you cooked the whole chicken. It was on the video where you sold the fingerprint chairs!
Another great video
Thank you! 💕

What do you use rolled oats for?
Nothing healthy! 😂 Apple crisp and cookies!
Seach "oat recipes" online. You'll be amazed by all the ideas!

We did Aldi today instead and it was a huge difference!
@@simplejoyfilledliving Yes, it is a big difference and Aldi truly has great products.
@@upcountrycharlottemason I was impressed today. It wasn’t that great where we used to live but that was years ago.
I love your meal planning idea. I’m trying to figure out how you did this! 😂
I just tracked what we ate over time and then organized by type.
