I love Glaspy and this might be one of her best interviews. You can tell the interviewer actually listens to the music and put some thought in the questions. Refreshing!

For the people watching this who have no idea who Margaret Glaspy is or her music, she reminds me of Tracy Chapman crossed with Weezer crossed with a Amanda Palmer. Maybe some Bjork or Stray Cats. I dont know. I don't really know her music too well, but the set I've heard brought to mind all three of those artists/bands. Honestly, I'm not a fan of this style of music so I cannot speak to their quality, but as a fan of punk and metal, she's pretty damned talented (and so are her band), and worth checking out. Lyrically strong, too.
