I just discovered Margaret Glaspy a few weeks ago and have been loving her music. It's kind of a grungy indie-folk style. Her guitar tone is awesome as well.

The boyfriend she mentions is Julian Lage. Imagine what monster musicians their kids would be, if they have any.

She always reminds me of a cross between Willow (from Buffy) and Gwyneth Paltrow in The Royal Tenenbaums.

    I play a Shell Strat
96 MIJ and she's not for sale either. Sorry!.
Set up just the way I like it ... ;^)
I like to play with all the toys but when things get serious I keep it simple. I'm with you on that.

She has only what she needs.
I have shit loads of stuff I want, but don't really need.
I think girls are a lot more sensible when it comes to gas.

It's kind of a shame that Margaret Glaspy got here before JULIEN BAKER. Do Julien Baker, she deserves it and probably has much more to offer than Margaret's bland explanations that perhaps don't mean much to people other than herself and Julian Lage.

Margaret Glaspy getting this doesnt take away the chance for Julien Baker to have a video. Lots of things go into who does what when; tour schedules and are you in Chicago when a film crew is, do you have other commitments, etc. Plus there are all sorts and a place for every thing too. If you want Julien (and personally yeah I do too) ask for her too, not instead.
Also be careful what you wish for I've read Julien's review of a Daughter record and it would not translate well to a short video, at all.

You're right man. I didn't take into consideration scheduling issues at all. However, I still think Julien Baker would have more to offer. As far as Baker's review of Not To Disappear goes, she cuts right to the chase.
I'd like to think it's understood that in the average 40 min spectrum, records hold emotions/feelings/technicalities that could add up to well over a few thousand words when attempted to be reviewed. Considering that and the fact she's a 21 year old singer-songwriter (not music critic), she did pretty darn good.
