This comparison is not created to say Galaxy A54 is a competitor of iPhone 14 Pro. This was created to see if the newer Samsung midrange is good enough sgainst the toughest competitor out there the flagship iPhone 14 Pro. Looking quickly, iPhone 14 Pro is better in performance and speed because of the flagship chip A16 bionic, it has a more premium build also comes with the higher costs. But the midrange Galaxy A54 is no slouch, it has a good screen, though not as bright as iPhone but still an AMOLED screen. It also has great batter life and will be supported for the next 5 years. The best thing about this phone is the price, it is one third as the iPhone 14 Pro. So the question today here is, if you are not a gamer or heavy user, which is the real winner here?

You know that this phone is good if compared to the top dog phone. To me personally for 1/3 the price - you get 88% the same quality of photos which is absolutely amazing.

This is actually the best and most honest review I've seen of these two phones. Iphone is obviously better, but the A54 gives it a run for it's money in some instances...
I had the chance to test both in a head to head in low(ish) light, and I was shocked that the Samsung A54 was brighter and sharper, it also had less image noise. The A54 is a fantastic mid-range phone.
I bought the a54 5g June 2023 and have used it all day every day for around 10 months now, and it's still running great, and the battery still lasts. The iPhone 14 pro has a 3200mah battery and the pro max has a 4323mah, the a54 has a 5000mah. I grabbed it randomly when I was opening a new line with metro pcs because they didn't have any iphones at the time and needed a new phone then and there. I was shocked at how well it performs and feels in the hand.
The mere fact that it's being compared to a top phone like the IP14 pro is already a win for the A54

Of course there will be a difference between these two, but I'm surprised by how the A54 can keep up with the iPhone and a few times, even be better!

Due to the huge difference in value, the A54 is much more worth buying than the iPhone 14 Pro! because in cameras the difference between the 2 is minimal.
Please ensure that HDR is enabled either in the camera app or if this feature is not available, in the camera assistant app. The difference in dynamic range, particularly in the high light roll off, is significantly better with HDR enabled.
I don't have the Galaxy A54, but I noticed it on my Galaxy S22 Plus.
Your Galaxy A54 photos look to me like they were processed without HDR
It is in auto mode which I believe could be turned on. Scene optimizer is also on. 😉

Here's the the diffrence Between The Two Phones. The A54 5g Has AMAZING Camera Quality on the FRONT facing camera, It make the Photos much more lighter as it takes in more light than the Iphone 14 Pro The max Zoom Goes To the iphone 14 pro as its a much better quality phone Although it makes The Photos And Videos Have a much More Cinamatic And Deep Colored Photos/Videos. The Diffrence Is Not Much i'd say its pretty Even, Even So The iphone 14 pro is obviously Alot Better Than the A 54 5g But The A 54 5g has a much lower price for 350 Dollars US , Its The Best Option For Cheap Phones , Its a must Have.

I can't ever see myself spending US$1,000+ for a smart phone that I basically use for the web, Facebook and posting pictures. Just don't tell the iSheep that line up for the newest phone every year. The A54 is fine for me. Even though the pictures on average will be slightly less in quality, unless one does these side-by-side comparisons, few would even notice.

The ISP on the A54 won't be able to compete with that on the iPhone but it comes pretty darn close! Given the price difference the Samsung did very well. Plus you get good support, accessories, OneUI and no crap iOS.....

Yep, but the video is yellowish so I will edit that in post and correct the white balance.
To be honest one of iPhones premium phones isn’t much better than one of Samsungs cheap phones, which says to me if your not bothered about having the best then spend hundreds less on The A54, if you do want the best then buy one of Samsungs S range, which will be better than anything Apple produce
