  • I searched everywhere on the internet and nobody covers Gen2 foot rests. Hope this helps someone from breaking theirs. I've seen a bunch of pics where people are just yanking on them until they break free. This is how to properly remove them. Enjoy and thanks for watching!!

Holy crap! Why were these scree caps not so obviously obvious to me after spending 20 mins "gently prying" at this foot rest hoping that it would just pop out like all the other Toyota trim???
Makes me cry with tears of happiness and frustration 😅

Wished my 2002 Taco had this footrest! And the wiper switch you just hit up on to mist! Had an 89' Xtra-cab 4x4 22RE for 20 years. Taco is barely a whisper of the 89 truck.

Seems to be the same on a 1st gen Rav4. Thanks heaps.

wow. If it wasn't for this I would have eventually just ripped off those circles which I thought were bolt covers. How are we supposed to know they're nuts?? Thank you!

I just wish I'd found this earlier before almost completely mangling the treads so I could get a better grip with a flat head. I had to use a flat head socket on a ratchet.
