great Job i find Trays one of the easy jobs to make i also custom made my own canopy with wind up jacks.i had a full size double bed in one side and all the kitchen and electronics the other side which i wired my self.
Great job. I want that shed but I don't think it'll fit on my suburban block. I'm in Perth and the rules may be different over there, but I've had to have mine weighed, inspected and licence changed from ute to flat top. Need the tare weight as low as possible to meet load restrictions under GVM. Keeps it legal and covered by insurance. I wasn't aware until finished and fitted out, so to meet regs and minimum tare I removed everything, weighed and started again. Pain.
Very neat and clean build. Absolutely love the farm setup and little shed and lawn and farmhouse. Got a Ford 5000 tractor on the farm as well. Good job mate sure it will work brilliantly. Just leave ample space between the cab and the rear, the chassis flexes quite a bit during off-road conditions and you don't want the cab and the rear connecting. Keep the wiring to and from the rear simplified to a single Anderson plug and for controls get a quick release plug you can grab from any auto-electric shop, that way if you ever need to remove it for upgrades or maintenance you simply unplug everything and remove it.

Awesome stuff thanks for sharing. Got some talent there for sure. I grew up on a farm & have done a fair bit of welding but you look like you might be a boiler maker by trade right? I just got a new tray & canopy for my Hilux today & so I’ll have to remove the tub as well. So thought I’d check out what others have done to remove it.
I'm pretty sure those are there so that when you shut the doors, you don't pop windows or ears or something due to air pressure. Some do have slightly better designs with less dust invasion though.
And to get fresh air into the cab there has to be SOME where for the stale air to exhaust. Might be important on a long trip so you have fresh oxygen to breathe as cabs get better and better sealed... But some sort of labyrinth to keep dust out would be good.
Great job quick tip when laying out any thing gates frames etc use the square of your steel welding table top sheet and f clamps can save time And if you ever get any spare cash buy a half decent metal bandsaw you will save a shitload on grinding and cut off blades Cheers Penola SA
