Chevelle is an American rock band formed in Grayslake, Illinois, in 1995. The band was originally composed of two brothers, Pete Loeffler (lead vocals and guitar) and Sam Loeffler (drums and percussion), along with Matt Scott (bass and backing vocals). Scott was replaced by Sam and Pete's brother, Joe Loeffler, in 1996. When Joe left the band in 2005, Geno Lenardo subbed in as the touring bassist until he was replaced by Pete and Sam's brother-in-law, Dean Bernardini. Bernardini departed from the band in 2019, and in 2021, Kemble Walters joined the band as a touring bassist. - เพลง
Chevelle is extremely underrated
I love Chevelle. I'd love to meet the band in person. I grew on these guys as well as nu metal but specifically these guys.
Honestly, I didn't realize that till now. I honestly thought they were bigger because they are kinda of credited with the creation of Nu-Metal type music they put out and credited with it's success in later years.

The moment in Closure where he seethes “hold my breathe til’ you *rupture”* and the song explodes off of the speakers is easily my favorite Chevelle moment. Awesome band.

Such an underrated band its criminal. Besides the ones you mentioned I really love “Panic Prone.”

Steve Albini mixed the first album. RIP to a rock music legend. He contributed so much
“Face to the Floor” is their best IMO.

Remember when is such a good song on its own, much less the album, so long, mother earth is a masterpiece.
I like Emotional Drought, The Fad, Safer Waters, The Meddler snd Piñata.

Those are some of my favorites too! Chevelle is a big influence to me!
Panic prone is a really good one, kinda depressing but hey sometimes you need the depressing music right?

Growing up I was poor so I had no computer or ways to listen to songs but during football work outs they would always play burned cds I would sometimes asks if I could make copies using my friends computer well a lot of he songs I enjoyed ended up being chevelle and linkin park songs not knowing they were all by those 2 bands. As an adult I can honestly say I’m a fan because I fell in love with their music not knowing who they were.
