It's cool to see you discovering Chevelle for the first time! They are one of the only rock bands from my teenage years that I still regularly listen to today amidst the rest of my -core interests. Also FYI most of these songs are older than their TH-cam re-upload dates would have you believe: "The Red" is actually from their 2002 album and "The Clincher" from their 2004 album.

Chevelle will always have a place in my life. Great fucking band. Their latest album is still at a high level. Some older bands rest on their laurels not Chevelle.

Close.. Their little brother Joe was bassist during their first 3 albums but Dean started on vena Sera as bassist which is their brother in law.. Dean left right before Niratias. Now it's just Pete and Sam. Bassist Kemble Walter's helps on tours
Seen them 13 times live now. 7 or 8 of those in front row so close i could read the set list from where i was standing. Pete had it taped to the rug next to his peddles
My all time favorite band. They are super consistent. If you haven't already try Closure, Fizgig, Hunter Eats Hunter, Family System and Mars Simula to get you started.
Chevelle can do NO wrong! You need to listen from Point #1 all the way through to their newest album and you will be BLOWN AWAY at the talent of this band!! They are my top 3 bands and I hope they sing for many years to come! Keep going down the rabbit hole and you will NOT be disappointed.
Chevelle's two albums Wonder What's Next and This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In) are probably the greatest back to back releases by any alternative metal band ever
Chevelle is definitely late Nu-Metal. They have that muddy deep-state guitar amp sound. Less tone, more grimey and angry. Something that gets turned up to really appreciate.
