I will always treasure this video because it was my first exposure to the Petersens well over 5 years ago. I was looking for a performance of "Joy to the World" to display on my Facebook page. They seemed so talented, but it looked like they were just horsing around with the song so I decided not to use it. I did, however, click on the "subscribe" button figuring that they might get serious sometime and do a more polished performance. That hunch paid off in a major way when the pandemic hit. They started turning out high quality videos several times a month. It was such a blessing.
Saw them in St.Louis and it was one of the most enjoyable performances I've ever experienced. Purchased their CD's and continue to be uplifted daily by their immense talent. Unlike most albums, there's not a single song of theirs I'd fast-forward through. A truly blessed family. See and meet them in person if you get the chance.
I wish my Dad was still alive to see you guys. He played bass sitting by his sister, who was our pianist, for over 60 years every Sunday. My Grandfather helped build our hometown church with his brother, who preached there for 75 years and my cousin still preaches there today. We had a wonderful little orchestra and I played the trumpet there for 8 years until I joined the Air Force back in 1985. I don’t live there anymore but visit when I can. Christmas time was always the best time when all our family got together. This brings back many great memories! Thank you guys for sharing your talents and gifts with us here on the tube! God Bless all of you! And give your parents a hug from me.

To thinks lot had happened in the past 5 years for our lovely Julianne. To look at her here sitting next to her eldest sister, and now at 20 she can be independent, funny and also write songs with the rest of the group.
