Can me tell me if I backup all data in new phone and than again backup my WhatsApp from drive , will it cause duplication of files.

A very straight forward tutorial, thank you. For some reason my 7 Pro on the latest update has the folder 'Backup' instead of 'opbackup'. However the content is the same as 'opbackup/MobileBackup'. Hope this helps someone out there.

it does not back up and restore app data...a must missed mention.
Followed all the steps and when I restored it all my apps did not show up. Only thing that was saved was the dumb background and a few settings. All my apps and data were gone. Had to reinstall everything. 5 hours later still not done putting everything back to how I had it. Not to mention all the links etc that I lost in my browser.

Doesn’t work. Some things restored, but not everything. Beware. Messages were apart of the back up but totally disappeared after the restore. You WILL have to completely set everything back up as if you have a new phone, fyi

The switch did not back up all the data. Some notes were backed up while most were not. What happened? Any chance of getting those back?

Bro agr mere paas pc, laptop nahi hoga to kya backup folder (opbackup) ko kisi dusre phone me tranfer krke phir phone ko factory reset karke baad me wo file (opbackup) phirse leke apna backup restore kr skte he kya ya phir folder kisi Computer ya Laptop me hi tranfer krke Krna padega.
No option under settings for OP6. I have to install One Plus Switch from Playstore.

I have a OnePlus 6t, when I try new backup, the next screen ask for permissions, bottom choices, "cancel or go to settings". I selected "go to settings" different from what you are showing. Me not being tech savvy is afraid to mess up the phone given the choices

I am transferring data from Samsung galaxy S8 to One plus nord. If I choose to move the applications too. Will all my applications still remain on my Samsung Galaxy S8 after the transfer. Will I loose them and will they be logged out of my Galaxy S8??

I am trying to take a backup from my outdated Oneplus 3T. It does not create a folder named opbackup. Also, looks like the One Plus Switch app is now called Clone One (or something like that, and it does not backup the media files. All in all, a pain!

Hello TechiBee, Oneplus Switch doesn't work on any Oneplus device... maybe only on those with the default Oxygen OS, not with a custom ROM. On my Oneplus 3 with Colt-Enigma OS I don't have any backup/restore options, only the option to scan the code on the new Oneplus device, nothing else.
Is any way to make it working on any ROM? Can anybody help me with this? Thank you.
