thank you. you saved my 8 pro. it refused to wake up from a standby so i hold the powerbutton till it rebooted but it got stuk on the rotating logo. did the volume up and power button thing did'nt work the first time but the second time it worked like a charm. edit: is there a way to give you a small donation? you deserved it.

my one plus has reset itself a few months ago . it happened so quickly, i was headed out for work and took my phone off the charger and my homescreen did never appear, it went to a black screen with a keyboard. then a Chinese screen and reset back to factory default so fast. i lost everything. it should not be that easy to do something that serious. this morning the same thing happened but it was solid on the keyboard screen. so i just sat it down and found this vid. i pressed the vol up key and the key on the other side of the phone and it restarted back to my home screen. thank you for that tip it saved my data! i am now going to get a dif phone . this is twice in 2 months.
