    Love my 2023 Tremor. Best truck I've ever owned.

    One of the best reviews of Ford F-150’s I have seen. You are very knowledgeable about the F-150’s and like how you parked the XLT and the TREMOR side by side. I think these two trims are the most purchased/popular and best value for 2024 F-150.

    I ordered a XLT blacked out edition 2024 it's arriving at the end of August it has leather heated seats, B&O system like the Tremor and a couple extra add ons like box liner sprayed and other stuff. And it's MSRP sticker was almost 82000$ in Northern Ontario Canada. I usually drive a Lariat but that's out of the question now it's over 100000$ the way I want it set up and that means we pay a luxury tax cause it's over 100k and a Tremor is even more expensive than that. What the hell .Wish I could get a Tremor but that's never going to happen. And trading in my Lariat is going to be hard to do wish I would have bought it out when I ordered it in the first place but I got sick for a bit and wasn't sure what I was going to be going through. Now I'm 95% good . Yes I would buy out my Lariat but not with interest rates at 7.99% my truck would cost me still over 62000$ not happening it's a 2021 Lariat FX4 I think 502A anyway that's my rant.or speal wish vehicles weren't so damn expensive..God bless

      in Alberta they have 401A tremors for 68k, 402A tremors for 78k, 501A lariats for 72k and 502A lariats for 75k. Those are brand new 2024s. Not sure what's happening out in Ontario but here they are not selling for MSRP no where near because no one is buying them. They still have brand new 2023s on the lot !

      Man, that is a crazy price. Totally understand your point of view.
      The 2021 Lariat FX4 is still a very nice truck.

    I think it's worth it for the upgrades. The dual exhaust looks so much better. Always wished ford would make that standard. He touched on the wheel upgrade but not the tire upgrade, you get larger more rugged all terrain tires on the tremor. For a 5 grand upgrade in today's world you get a lot for your money with the upgrade.

    The biggest complaint I have about my 23 Tremor so far is that the infotainment system sometimes takes too long to engage. I love the Torsen (not sure the one you looked at had it). The MPG has been great in the Coyote. I only pull a small trailer on occasion with this truck and am more interested in longevity and capability. It doesn't like strong winds for mpg on the interstate (west Texas) at 80+ mph (probably the 3.73:1 diffs), but I am averaging around 20 overall (calculated). The truck thinks I'm getting almost 21 over the last 3k+ miles. Peace, Love!!

    • @VagabondBuilds
      @VagabondBuilds  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nice. That is decent MPG on a truck.

    The only thing I’m bummed about is the DRL on my 21 XLT were a better look than the new ones, but I like the new design of the headlight. The old fog lights were also a big better I think

    The Tremor became a trim level on the 2023 models. Prior to that, it was a package.

    Trimmer but would not pay $60 plus K for a dam pickup , all the manufacturers are just ripping off the people ! Keep all the fancy bull crap and make a work truck with some reliability built in

    • @SkylarRace
      @SkylarRace 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They do. These are high end trucks with tons of features that people are willing to pay for. But Ford does still offer an XL work truck brand new for $39k which I agree still has too many features but they are being discounted below sticker. I just bought a 24 XLT that had a $61k sticker price but after Ford's discount, dealer discount, and $5k in rebates the actual price was $49,900. Even 20 year old beat to shit trucks are selling for $10k and high mileage 10 year old trucks are $20k. I've always bought used but the prices don't make sense anymore when a 3 year old truck with 40k miles is $43k.

    Hi! I’m thinking of getting a used F-150 as daily work truck. I have a commute of 40 mile one-way (1.5 hrs) then another 1hr drive home in horrid SoCal traffic. I haul mostly network cabling installation equipment in the bed, and do not tow.
    What model year, engine and grade do you recommend? I would like to have some of the newer active safety features such as the automatic emergency braking system to avoid front collisions, but not as critical as long-term reliability and durability. Any suggestions for a late model
    F-150 with Direct and Port Injection. Also, what immediate and affordable engine and transmission mods for reliability and durability are recommended? I’m not looking for more power, just long-term reliability and durability as I don’t have too much money and need a truck for work and personal use. Thank you!

      If I was in your spot, I would either go with the naturally aspirated v8 or the 3.5 ecoboost. I have received nothing but good ratings on these power trains. For the newer tech Im sure your best bet would be an XLT trim for a more affordable price range.
