@The911Den . I'm French, i have 356 c coupe 1965 restored in gt look, little upgrade with AAC, pistons, cylinder etc. I think i have around 90 cv like a Super 90. It's a pleasure to drive.A great car.
Oh my hoolie potato! What a ZIP file to get! Not only a 356...but a 356 cab...an SC! LUG NUT TIE DOWNS!? Of course you'd have something slick like that! And I love that you can share this with your son. My little boy is 2.5, but I am trying to share my love of Porsche and racing with him. We watch F1 on my laptop and he's got quite the diecast collection. I need to start learning some skills so when he's a little older we can have these kinds of adventures!
@@ianhardin1148 thank you for the kind words. I certainly appreciate them. It’s great to share this with not only my son but with other enthusiasts who share the same interest! Enjoy that time with your son!! ❤️
Geeez! Your music selection while I watched this was Outstanding!! Somebody was slapping that bass!!😮😮😮. And so Kool to watch you get that Sweet little car!!😎
Coincidentally, I thought about you and your channel the day before you dropped this video. Glad to see you are doing well, that is a great find, one of the guys I know from PCA owns a shop in Melbourne that specializes in 356’s, he does beautiful work. Glad you are doing well and enjoyed the video.
Your mini me looks just like you lol. Sweet ride, I’m glad yall are getting to a place where you aren’t just having to work on the residence and can get back to your passion. Good to hear from you and have a great weekend brother!!!!
Thank you sir! I feel the same way. The previous owner put Weber's on it but never even drove the car. Still have the original Weber box with the original Solex carbs inside! Made those tie downs 20 years ago! Use them on all the Porsche trailer projects!
I've had a 57 Beck Replica Speedster that is Black with Rudge 'replica' wheels that the original owner had placed on the car to emulate Steve McQueen's original as close as possible. Car had a 1914 cc that was beyond repair, so I had a new 1776 cc placed in it but switched from the Weber's to Fi-Tech Fuel Injection. Repairs started just when covid hit and it has been 3 years until everything could be sorted out regarding securement of parts, tuning etc.. Never was a big fan of the 'floppy' side windows and had Lexan ones custom made with slide-openings built in. They don't roll up or down but do give me air in the cockpit when wanted. Can pop them out whenever desired and insert lower '1/2 as high' Cruisin Windows inserted anytime I want in the Spring and Summer. Headlights have been upgraded for increased illumination, as well as dashboard lights that also were too dim. Have taken the car to outdoor car shows and I don't care what exotic cars might be there, a huge throng of people will migrate to my 'Black Beauty'. The timeless look of the 356 Speedster just has an effect on anyone who see's it. Other than a Jaguar D or E Type, I haven't seen anything else to compare with the effect it has on onlookers.
@@The911Den As far as I know, my car is the only replica speedster to have a Fi-Tech Fuel Injection set-up in it. There is a company in California that has EFI for air cooled cars but they rarely appear in speedsters. Most likely due to replica cars now being fitted with water cooled Subaru engines that are fuel injected.
What a dream, only on TH-cam. You and Dennis Collins have the in on vintage Porsches. Lucky buggers. Your kids head on the side of the trailer as it’s being wenched? Not a Great idea, just an observation.
Yes he was. He was such a great guy. Both he and his wife. I think ultimately he was happy to see that the 356 was finally going to get some attention.
No sir we did not. Although we almost forgot the hard top as we set it aside and well.....you know. I'm thinking seriously about a rotisserie to help ease the chassis work.
This is actually my second 356....I have a "Frankenstein" 356 I need to show.......
Great car, she's in a very good state ! Well conserved
Thank you! I’m excited about it.

I hope so. The rust repair will be the big job!
Hey Leonard! This is Zac from Porsche Palooza. Great video and sweet ride! 😎
@@thezaczone thank you Zac my man. Great visiting with you sir!
Looking forward to watching you bring this one back to life.
I'm going to get it running and driving, then tackle the rust. Thank you!

Its nice to see a garage not full of junk and a car that can easily be taken out.
That garage door in front of the 356 had not been opened since 2001!

Dude, what a score! Including a removable hardtop. It looked like it had Weber’s on it.

I was lucky to get this little 356. Thanks ❤
Well, it proves finding a 356 can be done, inspiring me to search again.
Keep searching!
So … completed by Palooza 202 … FIVE ??? Sorry to hear about your painting guru being ill :-( See you in a few days Leonard!!!
It will be running by then for sure. See you at Palooza!!
Yay, we’re back! 😎
Thank you.....and yes sir!
Funny that the seller was proud of including “New Tires” that were low mileage.
Yes he was. He was such a great guy. Both he and his wife. I think ultimately he was happy to see that the 356 was finally going to get some attention.
Did you forget the hardtop and engine lid? Build yourself a rotisserie to tackle the underside rust.
No sir we did not. Although we almost forgot the hard top as we set it aside and well.....you know. I'm thinking seriously about a rotisserie to help ease the chassis work.
Had a chance to buy several 356. Cars. Didn’t like the iron steering column pointing at my chest!
That’s part of the charm. 😮
@ not if u have a wreck
Hardtop also?
Boss
Don't leave us too long without an update ....
Man, that tornado turned everything upside down. Glad, a lot of that is behind us. Thank you
How’s “Orange Crush” coming along? 🤔
I have my part 95% completed. Need a painter as my guy has fallen ill I'm sad to say.
@ Sounds good! Tell your painter I said “Get well soon!” 😷
Awesome project.. if you need a rotisserie for it reach out. I’m finished with mine.
Accidents happens
Please secure the child
He’s secured other than dancing around on the trailer.
Dr Porsche
The car doesn't need much work. The guy could have been driving it and enjoying it. Makes no sense.
I'll show the rust issues in the next video. That's the downer side of the equation.
