    For those of you not able to save the sheet - I've been testing this in Incognito mode, and I think I have a solution. Please try the following and let me know if it works:
    1. Make sure you are using Chrome
    2. Make sure you are signed in to Gmail
    3. Wait 5 minutes after signing in to click the link. For some reason there seems to be a delay before Chrome realizes you're signed in.

    • @Xialoh
      @Xialoh 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried out both of these methods, and both worked. Going through drive's shared with me being less straightforward, but faster than waiting for the sign in delay.
      I do want to note though, the behavior was still a little weird after testing with incognito. After I got it to work in there, it started working everywhere - in my non incognito windows, and in my second, separated chrome account as well for no apparent reason. I even got the toolbar when opening the page without being signed in at all afterwards, though I can't copy that way of course. I did refresh once in incognito mode and it went back to having no toolbar, but reloading brought it back, and I can't seem to make it disappear again now (and I'm fine with that...).
      I'm normally signed in to about 4 gmail accounts with 1 user, and 1 with the other, if that matters.

    very useful... transformed your table to a graphical numbering over the world map to get an idea of how to arrange my nodes and which to invest in...
    i'm a total newbe, but at least now i can worry a lot less about node distribution and trajectories... i just focus on your top nodes per town... done.

    TY so much for this setup. Even as a beginner I can use it to get the workers up and running. I added some rows for NodePurchased and WorkerOptimal tho. I think this helps new players to keep track what to explore/invest/optimize

    Just wanted to let you know that you have great content, and tat this video helped me a lot in getting started. Now that I know my gear is OK I can stop worrying about that and start figuring out WHY it is OK ;) keep up the good work, I can see you put a good amount of effort in these videos, much appreciated. It's a shame the game did not have as much success as other MMORPGs but I suppose it is not fitting for every audience, bit more complex of a game.

    This is the level of understanding of the game , my officers had in Atlantica online. Still amazed how some ppl can make graphs and excel tables about game information and % of efficiency. But still awesome mate +1 Could you please make a video about beginner crafting income? For example : What is the best to invest in crafting with your top 10 nodes (and i guess some more side nodes) you suggested in the previous video you made. Also a bit of help on making and calculating the most efficient storage/lodging cp investment each city.

  • @WulfLOL1
    @WulfLOL1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    There's something I would change in your calculations. In your calculator you input your AFK time as 9 hours for your workers, but that isn't truely the case. Right before you go to sleep, you refresh all of your workers, meaning for the next 4 hours, your workers will actually work before running out of stamina and won't sit there idle. What you should do instead is you have one cell asking you how many hours you plan to stay away from the comupter everyday day, and then substract 4 hours to that number. That excel cell should be called "downtime". So if you sleep for 9 hours every day, your down time would be around 5 hours, making Goblins WAYYY better than Humans or Giants most of the time. People who are close to their computer all the time or have a computer remote control on their cellphone to refresh workers with a screentap will always have a better incentive to use Goblins except fora couple of nodes.
    Having the AFK time set at 9 hours would be the same as saying "I sleep 13 hours a day" in your case, and I think it's incorrect and leads to bad math.

    • @Jahn3000
      @Jahn3000 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Philip Loranger just set ur afk time at 5? No need to change the calculator

    • @icyhead1
      @icyhead1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you look again at the calculator, I'm fairly sure that's all dealt with. The calculator doesn't subtract 'missed' cycles, it just adds up cycles. So you type AFK 8 hours, it calculates how many cycles the worker can do in that time, and displays that number. If that number is above their max stamina, the max stamina overrides. TLDR: The calculator is fine.

    • @WulfLOL1
      @WulfLOL1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what I mean by misleading. Yeah, the couple of people who know it can set it up at 5 no problem, but for the rest, they'll all write down the full AFK time, resulting in wrong results.

    • @icyhead1
      @icyhead1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you're incorrect. You do need to write down the full afk time. Take another look. As I said, it calculates the cycles it can do starting at max stamina within the time you set.

    Hey thanks so much for this video! Would love to see you make one about farming cuz I know many seem to be making absurd amounts through it and I have very little understanding of how.

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I might be able to do that - the basic farming strategy is pretty straightforward, though. The best products to sell on the market are probably green strawberries, green sunflowers, and blue strawberries. Prune manually to maximize hard/sharp drops.
      It only gets complicated if you're doing Imperial Alchemy and you need specific fruits as byproducts, in which case you may need to rotate different crops.

    • @WhimsicalWolff

    hi just checked out the spreadsheet you have like a ton of velia workers in the list but that would mean some of them are paid ones? just wondering as thought in the video you had some of the velia ones as olvia so as to make all use of non paid lodging etc? Don't really want to pay for lodging. Thanks in advance. I did notice you have notes by some of them but still a lot over the ones from velia i guess i can just look see myself and calc. Great guide btw!

    Have been using/referring to this guide and spreadsheet for weeks now. Thanks so much for all the awesome info Morro! One question -- why do you subtract the full price of a beer for each yield? Shouldn't it be halved since beers restore 2 stamina?

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I could fix it to be a little more precise

  • @HFrevive
    @HFrevive 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I like this, however, for a lot of the best worker for the nodes, they are not practical at all. For example, you put down a lot of tariff worker for many nodes, but there's only one lodging at tariff and it is very cost inefficient, in most cases people would use altinova worker instead. Hope you can fix it. :)

  • @sorenkair
    @sorenkair 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    how come some nodes are greyed out on the spreadsheet?
    also, some of the cp costs don't look right. like how is it possible to get behr riverhead for 4 cp?
    I think an interactive calculator would be much better. maybe somehow work one into the map on somethinglovely?

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nah, there's no way to automate that. Hopefully with the lessons in the video people can make those adjustments as the game & market change.

  • @janrumanovsky1037
    @janrumanovsky1037 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi. First of all, thank you very much for the video. As a newish player, this helps me a great deal. I have one question though. I have downloaded your worker spreadsheet and is there any particular reason why you chose humans over goblins in certain nodes? For example, nodes for potato, copper ore, or corn near Olvia have humans assigned to them. Suppose I can feed my workers remotely, wouldn't goblins be better? I understand the gathering speed thresholds you explained but still, a goblin moves faster so maybe they are a better choice for people who can feed their workers at any time?

  • @wifidaniel9595
    @wifidaniel9595 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is such a great video! I really didn't know how to actually get a worker empire started, but someone recommended this to me and I might actually be able to start on it now! One question, though; I noticed your towns aren't all connected, so would I have to use a different setup if I wanted to try to get into trading?

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're using a special route for trading, you'll have to recalculate the incremental costs for each node. I also would not recommend trading in general to a new player.

    • @wifidaniel9595
      @wifidaniel9595 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Morrolan TV Guess I was misinformed then. Thanks again for the video!

  • @ZeuZLoD
    @ZeuZLoD 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    So in theory, artisan goblins with 150+ speed would be the best for every 200 capacity nodes? You said human would be better for a 200 cap node because of the higher stamina. But wouldn't a 150 speed goblin still bring in the mats faster?

  • @Miniishadow
    @Miniishadow 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I probably sound like an idiot but, how do I save a copy of the tool? And Thank you SO much for this! As a new player, you've helped me understand nodes better then anyone else has, absolutely amazing.

  • @arronbranton6146
    @arronbranton6146 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Morrolan, I have a question:
    On your document, the CP spent is often a lot lower than it'll actually take me, because I have to unlock existing nodes. For example, Bernianto farm is said to only require 1CP. However, the cost is actually 3 CP (2 CP for Bernianto Farm and 1 CP for the resource node). Another example is Kamasylve Temple. It is said to only require 2.5 CP. However, I'd need to invest into Eastern Border (which is 3 CP), Kamasylve Temple (which is 2 CP), and the flax node itself (which is 2 CP). This totals 7 CP.
    Why do we have this difference? Surely I'm missing something lol.
    Also, because of this difference, do you suggest that I adjust my investment, or can I still follow your income/CP nodes efficiently?

  • @deeterfly

  • @alexisfougeres6549
    @alexisfougeres6549 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not sure i understand. You say to get the green one first. But the income/CP ratio doesn't add up if we skip the nodes in between does it?

  • @6thXero
    @6thXero 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm wondering, have you done any additions to the sheet? I'm trying to wrap my head around if you could calculate the precise CP cost way included / your current progress included. Would be only for beginners that don't have that much CP yet, but since I too only just started....

    @danielreynolds4116 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Really happy with your guide mate, most impressive. Quick question: thought of using Gabino Farm lodging? Gives you storage in Calpheon too to boot.

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Calpheon lodging that I showed is 5 CP for 8 workers, which is very efficient. Gambino Farm is 7 CP for 6 workers. I need 8 workers exactly in Calph so I would end up paying 9 CP for those workers total if I went with the gambino route. I would have extra storage, sure, but it would also spend 4 more points - and I'd rather have the points.

    • @danielreynolds4116
      @danielreynolds4116 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It gives 8 workers too and costs 3 CP + 4 Points to get 11 storage. If you don't need the storage then yeah the one you showed is better but for average joe new player who needs storage in calpheon it's a great option.

    bit late to the party here, however regarding the spreadsheet for optimization
    shouldn't the worker lodging cp be contributed into values? obv bits a bit hectic if u try to acutalyl see the cost of each worker, but perhaps just use the avg of 1 cp/worker e.g. if u have a worker (1 cp lodging) working at a 3 contribution node, then it takes u 4 cp to get that output. wondering because quite a few of the 1cp nodes have a really high gold/cp

      Marco increase the work load so that you have 150 on goblins and 100 on humans. After that increase your movespeed. An important skill is definitely farm knowledge, others you would have to look up at blackdesert analytics. Exception to this are crate workers in Epheria/Trent but that's a whole other topic anyway.

I've got 196 CP, and I want to try to get as many of the Nodes marked green in your spreadsheet as possible, but it's difficult to tell what the proper path would be for getting to them with my CP pool, let alone have enough saved over to activate the gathering nodes within and get lodging in the right locations.

      Precise optimal path would vary based on your cash shop lodging. You can use the CP column of the spreadsheet to change incremental costs if it's really that big of a deal to you.

    How come you've moved from a crafting based profit to just worker/gathering profit?

      I did workshops for many months, wanted to switch to a more passive income setup so I could focus my active time leveling new characters

    So not counting in Skills the Workspeed at LvL 30 for Artisan Goblin, Human and Giant is respectively 150, 125, 100? Wouldn't that make the Giants the best for these 200 Workload Nodes that are close to the city since it would take 2 ticks no matter the Type of Worker? But I think the time it will take for an Artisan Giant Worker to reach above 100 Work Speed takes to long, compared to Artisan Human Workers which can reach 100 Work Speed at around Level 23.

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nah, Artisan humans are like 105 and giants are somewhere in the 90s. You need special skills to get a giant to 100 - it's possible but not easy

    isn't the cp spent column wrong for just about every single one in the game? i mean for example the very first line is "wolf hills - ash" and says 1 cp, thats impossible. you need 1 for the node, and then 1 for the ash trees, so in order to obtain that, it should read 2 cp. i added up all the nodes and work sites i have, came up to 51 cp on your chart, but in game it's actually 85, given that your chart doesn't always account for the cost of the node, just the worksite on many locations (or some like imp cave you have 1.5, which is only true if you have the other 1.5 item at that node active, if you're just working the one site at that node, it costs 2, 1 for the node, 1 for the site)
    tldr - check your cp values and include the node costs when doing your own, make sure the cost of the nodes are in your count, not just the cost of the individual work sites, otherwise you'll be short on CP when you go to do all of this in game. :)

    Hey there. Is there a list that show me the best order to take nodes and make money just by selling things on market? Like, first you take this one, then this one... Sorry, english is not my first language. Great video and guide, by the way. Cheers from Brazil. Thank you a lot!

    • @MorrolanTV

      Yes, the spreadsheet in the second part of the video shows the market value of every node in the game.

    Im new to the game, and im trying to fallow with what you said, n the guide, but there are some confusing parts. If i want to fallow what your sheet says and do the ash trees from wolf hills, i need to put a point on olvia right? i dont recall any info about having to invest in the connection nodes before i can use the ones in the sheet, this change the amount of cp you spend on the node.

    @morrolan TV great video! +1 subscriber. btw - I dont get the 'detailed worker information' window that you seem to get when clicking on a node, I've even gone to the node manager and looked at information fro mthere. All I get is a small window saying work progress information. Do you have to click on an option somewhere to get all the details?

      Oh. The difference is that I don't have a worker currently working the node, and you do. Unfortunately it's not possible to check things like distance/workload while a worker is currently doing a task on the node.

    Does anything impact yield per cycle? I'm not sure what the range is for those yields but I've seen my workers bring in twice as much on cycles?

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      There some to be lucky "procs" on yields - as far as we can tell, nothing affects these (including worker type, workload, and luck). The data is from many, many trials done by Balzor and then averaged altogether.

  • @justin7493
    @justin7493 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for the great info one other question however: Does the worker type effect the outcome of the cycle for example will a giant bring more fish than a goblin back to compensate for the slower worktime ( Giants irl could probably carry alot more than goblins)

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      According to Balzor's test, the type of worker, and the luck stat, do not affect yield.

    • @justin7493
      @justin7493 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks so much! Im guessing luck only affects rare procs then , Thanks so much for taking the time to make these vids to benefit the community you make the game more enjoyable for everyone with the info you share

    • @MorrolanTV
      @MorrolanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly, the evidence seems to indicate that luck literally does nothing. We're not sure if this is a bug or not as our communication with the developers is very limited

    Hey I watched another guide and all of the nodes he used gave him a lot of money everyday but on here all of those nodes are red or white, does it depend on the way your using materials or are they just not profitable

    • @MorrolanTV

      I don't know what video or nodes you're referring too, so I'm not sure dude. Probably using the mats in crafting instead of selling them on the market.

    Do workers work while BDO is closed, like if you set 10 tasks will they complete them while offline or do you have to have bdo open?

    • @MorrolanTV

      No, they will finish the current task and stop working until you log back in
