I hope you all enjoy my video & feel free to ask any questions i'll do my best to answer quickly!
Nice guide, just noticed two thing i would like to say for the people that are going to start cooking.
3:30 There are plenty of high end lifeskillers out there who have done alot of research on the luck part of workers. All of them have come to a conclusion that it doesn't really do anything. So my advice, don't bother with human workers just for the higher luck they have but focus on whats better with workspeed / workload.
13:40 I would recommend sticking to wolfs, they drop a minimum of 2 meat and sheeps drop a minimum of 1.
I have looked far and wide across the internet, and your guide is the simplest. Thanks for sending that link man :)
Please don’t apologize for the long video, it’s a complicated system. It’s one hella complicated game, lol. You explained it very well and it was very informative! Thank you 😊
this is exactly what I was looking for, I was tired of videos from folks saying... "doing x, y and z is easy" and they already have 300+ contribution points and a huge node system set up with multiple 60+ characters. I was looking for something to just start out with and this did that trick, it was well explained and thought out, thanks.
I really appreciated this guide man. Thanks for slowing it down and being thorough. Very, very solid starter guide.
This is exactly what a cooking for beginners guide video should be like this here is the perfect example of beginners guide standards
Thank you for this comprehensive guide. I've just started on Xbox and mostly want to cook and farm. This guide is perfect for me.
I don’t usually comment but I just want to say this was a great guide
Thanks :D
This video is fantastic. I've re-watched it multiple times its so good just to let all the information sink in there is so much info in this video. Thankyou so much.
Thank you for the guide. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get into Imperial Crafting.
Ez. High CP
nice guide :) just wanted to point out that selling the grapes and buying strawberries is more efficient; with or without a value pack.
Hey thanks man! Nice to be enjoying your guides again, it has been since the blade and soul beginning. I never could get bns to run right, and after upgrading many computer components, it still micro stutters so its time that I move on, at least until I get another computer. Was researching this game to help my mom learn, as her friend was trying to get into it, and well it got me interested, now I am having a blast with it. This method looks great because npc's pay, not market. So I am stockpiling these ingredients while I level and am getting my 5 alts up so I have more energy and doing horse stuff. lol Thanks again, I keep having to rewatch this video as I put it all together.
Thank you for this informative and detailed video. You have explained this so simply. I feel like I could start cooking at anytime now.
Concerning the milk, i think Duvencrum is a better place than Olivia for two reason:
a: you can do 5 dailys which will give you 60 energy, 1 free cow milking and 20 milk (two merchant who ask you to move wrongly delivered crates, one guy in the tavern asking raw lama meat, one guy in the field asking you to harvest some corn and one last guy who ask you to milk one cow)
b: it's a capital, so you have direct access to the marché commun (in french sorry don't know the translation for this one, let's say it's the AH ;) )
Inconvenience: it's about 10 minutes of horse riding from Calpheon or Heidel for exemple.
Anyway, thanks a lot for this very helpfull video :)
What an amazing, noob-friendly guide. Thanks for the information. Liked!
by far the best video with explanation + what nodes you need
Just found this video. I have to tell you this is by far the best video explanation ever!! Thanks a lot.
watched a coupld of tuts for this, this is the first one i actually can follow, as its not thrown at me at a stupid fast pace where i have to keep pausing just to catch up with it. Thank you.
best cooking guide i watched , props
2:20
- dont get olives, get paprikas/pumpkins instaed on the Costa Farm (Heidel) or Northern Wheat Plantation (Calpheon).... those are better CP wise because you get more of them rather than spending just on node and olives (both give 3 gathering subnodes used for cooking where 5 of them are for cooking)
- for velia nodes you can get profesional giants from aminity game at Finto farm, but normal workers are better in long run
nice, thank you friend
Edit: you can get olives if they are on the way when you connect Calpheon-Epheria-Olvia thru Florin, its cheap way to connect those if you need workers for ships
About the giant workers in the potato nodes in velia, I noticed some people have professional giants and takes them around 35 min. I got maxed artisan giants but it takes me 54 minutes. I compare my worker stats and skills and every stat of mine are higher. Can someone compare with me and see what the average time for their artisan giant is? I’m seriously confused and I feel like I got scammed with artisan giants.
@@benfung621 the aminity giants that you get from one of the farms have one unique skill that gives them more speed when farming or somethink like that
but im switching to goblins so cant compare anymore
Thank you so much for this guide! As a newbie you don’t know how much this really really helped
Add this to your bdo playlist. Also you make wonderful guides and I love your voice. Great content dude, keep it up
Licor luls.
Good video but i have to say this. Definitely invest in wheat expecially Northern Wheat Plantation at Calpheon. Connect to Port Epheria from Olvia for fish. Connect Olvia to Velia, Velia to Heidal, and Heidal to Calpheon. You will need it to make beer for workers. Put the rest of your CP in storage space in Velia and your main city. Then use the rest for ore(for steel/brass)/wood(get pine/elder/maple) to make a sailboat for bartering and crates.
Cooking: Oatmeal for skilled. Pickled Vegetables for professional. Meat soup for artisan. Meat croquette for master. Media Meal for Guru.
Gear: Just get a tri loggia set. Worth it to get more money and drops when cooking or gathering especially the butchering knife, axe, and cooking clothes. With the Calpheon cooking utensil(2k cooks) you can just afk overnight.
you don't need beer for workers, nor do you need to connect those nodes - use transport if you need stuff from other regions - it's extremely wasteful on your CP to connect them. Bartering wise it's best to honestly just make silver & buy a sailboat & then actively preorder the necessities for caravel - trash crates are not something i'd encourage a new player to do -- the ore for steel & brass are bad outside of just zinc as far as cost efficiency -- Under no circumstance would I encourage oatmeal for imperial turnins and Valencia or Balenos meals are much more straight forward for guru meals, Mediah is very valid, but had a lot more stipulation to make them. cooking overnight isn't for profit purposes due to weight limitations, though you can make some, mostly for CP though with red sauce or dressing.
@@kilryan You are currently correct in not handing in oatmeal for imperial delivery. It should be saved in storage until guru. I recommend making vinegar to pickled vegetables if going for level. Bartering depends on what resources are already in storage in order to determine which way is cheaper. Caravel materials are almost impossible to get due to the 30k preorders already especially sap. Those come from the barters and the nodes east and north of altinova which I used workers to gather. Crates are definitely not worth but I had extra cp I didn't use so I just put them in some ore and alchemy nodes. And I am just too lazy to collect material to make my utensils.
Just started this guide super helpful. I some how managed to get most of those nodes early on so starting with a good stock pile
One of the most popular meals people make now at guru is Valencia meals and you need vegetables to make it. Also sheep mountain is a bad spot to gather meat now because it procs less meat per energy than most other red meats. When you’re working your way to guru cooking to do those boxes DONT WASTE YOUR MILK ON ANYTHING. Not even master crates. Just focus on prepping everything you need for whatever meals (not calpheon because it’s too milk heavy) you want to make. Spam cook pickled vegetables (you can get plenty of vegetables and fruit if needed from calpheon fruit vendor) if you want to power level and use your milk only on recipes that are used in meals.
Thank you sooo much for this!! I had so much trouble understanding cooking and even nodes this helped me a lot! I am defo going to follow these steps! Thanks!
Thanks so much for this guide!! It was the only guide I could find that made this process easy to understand. Subbed :D
The number of boxes to turn is limited to what YOU can turn in per day, but the NPC resets every 3hrs (maybe 4hrs), so if you see a box at zero, you can come back later when the NPC resets (if you still need to turn in boxes that day).
The video was so good, I didn't bother skipping multiple ads midway
Thanks for this very helpful guide, started doing cooking while following this guide for sometime now and I'm at Master 2 with just tri loggia gears which is enough atm.
Edit: Hope you can update this together with the new byproducts witch delicacy.
witch delicacy hurt people with very low mastery as far as contribution xp, but now it allows you to wear loggia / manos cook clothes & cook overnight for more procs using red sauce & dressing
Finally a good tutorial. Jesus for a popular and extensive game you'd thought there's tons. Thanks man. Liked and subscribed.
P.S. Try to raise the volume next time XD
Nice guide!!! Just literrally came back playing after 2yrs +
this shit was fire even before the rework. legit got my tri boss gear back in early 2018 doing this shit.
Thank you for this indepth step by step guide, very informative, may this work be a reminder of your contribution to the bdo community.
Amazing guide BRAVO! Added to bdo playlist.
New player here, thanks for the depth of the guide!
Bro thank you soooo much for the detailed explanation now i know which recipes to go for
I feel so dumb i have been breeding the pepper seeds this hole time :S
Thanks for the help!
Why? You gonna need pepper for the higher tier crafts.
Spiri Tus “breeding” not farming
Thak you so much for this guide, very easy to follow and tells me everything I needed to know.
Very informative. Thanks mate.
thanks for the beginner-friendly guide, really helpful!
So, a little advice - wolves drop 2-4 meat, when sheep drop 1-4, which may result in a noticeable difference. So it's technically better to gather wolf meat instead of lamb.
Nice video :) Me myself had all the info BUT.. I recommended your video to two of my friends who were struggling and i am not that good on explaining :D keep making guides man, you do it really well!
Great video, very informative and simple to understand!!! Thank you!!!
For master's box you can also try Stir-Fried Meat. It require the same ammount of items for a box as Meat Croquettes, but it uses 1 less Meat per item. So Stir-Fried Meat recipe is 7 Meat (gathering wolf/sheep) + 2 Base Sauce (cooking vendor) + 2 Onion (farming) + 3 Hot Peppers (farming)
Did they remove pickled vegetables? Crafted a lot but i cant box them up for imperial delivery.
Great Guide man you for sure can be proud of this one👌🏾
thank you! i think im finally beginning to wrap my head around this game and i love it
U can get fruits and vegetables from the NPC in Calpheon. So, u dont need to expend CP on those nodes. Correct me if im wrong. Nice vid!
Yeah, he goes into that at 11:09
omg its amazingly helpful. finally a comprehensive guide for noobs like myself
Appreciate your wisdom. Wish the videp could be 4 minutes but well we all know how complicated BDO gets haha.
Thanks for all the info i was looking for :)
Thank you for this guide! I just came back to BDO after a year away and was totally lost on what to do, this helped me a lot :D
Thank you for making it beginner friendly!
Dude. Thank you. This helps so much
Thanks for this great video.. it realy helped me ..one tip though: instead of buying fruit in calpheon.. easy grapes are for grabs in veila
yes but its a bottle neck sometimes so to speed it up you just sacrifice some money and buy the fruit to cook more dishes faster.
I think having this one video split into separate ones for each tier would be useful for the player. Keep this one and use it as an overview of the system.
right now i'll be in the beginner so the setup of the nodes, workers are more important. each video would build upon the last.
Really appreciate your hard work making this video man thank you!!
Best nodes / cooking guide I've come across! I just wanted to check - the cooking byproducts - they can be used in imperial cooking hand ins too?
What about Deer meat, cant you gather deer meat as your doing relic shards? You pop a perfume of swiftness, and boom, you go at it... once its done with, you can just use the deer meat that your acquired while doing the relic shards? THEN, as you are coming back to VELIA to cook your imperial boxes, you can Buy your strawberrys, and pick up your olives and Paprika from calpheon all in one trip brother :D
Thanks for guide but after nearly 2 hours a fails befor I finally get the meat pie work it uses 30 for a box and u get 60k silver more for all that Hassel etc I will take the slower XP route through professional and keep makin the easier and faster boxers as it pays me more for now .. Greta guide tho helped me loads.. also ur meat pie ingredient amount is different to ps4 I kept failing befor I googled It
Pickle, pickles, pickle and my mind screams PICKLEE RICKKKK :D
This was on point. Thanks man
really nice guide !
also don't forget you can get sweet potatos as well at shuri farm
i will dream about pickles ;P what a great guide you made. finaly i can make a bit of money now :D
great guide, though I wonder if I'm still missing something or if the consoles are behind here too as I only see the boxed below the beer event one at the turn in.
why on console there’s no pickled vegetables in imperial delivery
I think there is some slight variation with what's available at times for some items and there is some variation between pc and console, I play console and pc.
Console is missing a lot of content compared to PC my friend.
Best guide to cooking thank you
Looking at different vids to find a good one. This is a great one! You do say okay a little bit to much. Otherwise its awesome! I will save it and use it as a walkthrough. Thanks for this vid! 🌈
Brotha I appreciate the guide I'm finally making money
hello brother.. very nice guide ! are u going to make another guide to get guru on cooking? and the best dishes to deliver
I plan on doing a Individual video for each guru meal :) be on the look out
THANK YOU !... MORE CONTENT LIKE IT
what do you do with the cooking box after you're done with it
Very helpful guide, thanks !
Awesome guide ! Thank you
Thanks for the guide
I'm at artisan cooking rn. Getting the energy up to 300 is a must now. Gathering meat is not the most fun thing to do.
So what are those cooking box limits on the right part of each item in the list of the delivery npc? Are they a limit shared between all players on a channel?
Loved the video it was really helpfull, thank u so much
Is it better to have full tri loggia cooking clothes and accessories or just the accessories plus a +3 regular cooking clothes ? Would it be better in the long run to have the tri for the higher chance to get the cp turn ins or run +3 clothes for the 1s cook times? I don’t have the silver for the higher end life crystals or the manos gear, hopefully I can gain enough profit from cooking to get the tri manos and the crystals.
dummy question, procession cloths gives anything to creating imperial boxes ?
nope!
Amazing Guide totally helpful in terms of whats the most efficient to make per level. Any advice on what to make for Guru tier ?
Typically people look at Balenos or Valencia as good starters for guru boxes :)
@@kilryan ty im gonna work my way there . Cheers.
Wow I'm master alchemist and this is so much easier I regret buying the Pavilla costume now
How are you getting your materials from velia, Olivia, etc, to Heidel? Do you just run, take a wagon, ship them?
YO NICE VIDEO, BUT 1 QUESTION SOZ CAPS, can i buy all stuff from market to make cooking box and still make profit ?
Hello why do I not see the Apprentice , Skilled , Professional , Artisans or Masters or guru cooking boxes !??? All I see is the green ones at the bottom in your video . How do the unlock the the ones I’m missing, is there a quest I need to do ?
Unfortunately on PS4 / Xbox yall do not have the LIfeskilling update which provides Lifeskilling Mastery & the updated Imperial trade in boxes. At this point try to just hit guru & prep yourself for when that time comes!
@@kilryan 2 Years later now I am playing on PC. I can honestly say that XBOX/PS players are getting scammed on the game. They are years and I mean years behind on updates. The grind there is insane compared to PC. Been playing 4 days on a seasonal server now and I am level 61 240AP 305DP. Which is insane. Now I am getting into cooking again and this video is still great
Did they remove pickled vegetables from professional? Made alot but cant package into imperial box
My Comment i was wondering the same thing there is no pickled vegetables in imperial delivery status
if you are on console, they have not released the updated boxes yet -- I expect it to be released soon
kilryan oh thank you 🙏🏿. So u recommend mass cook it and store it until the update drops?
noob question, when you craft these boxes, do they spawn as a regular item in your inventory or are they like a trade pack where i'd need a donkey or a cart to move them?
They spawn right into your backpack but be careful they weigh 80lt each so process a couple, sell, process, sell etc.
So, thank you for the great info. Very well thought out. I'm just lost as to how to get the food in the boxes. I'm guessing you have a crafting shop to do so but the details elude me. Edit: I read up on it. Made 60 mil my first try.
the nodes dont work. ive been looking at the node thing and looked at a number of videos to start it and it just dosent want to start so is there another way to get the stuff needed for this thing ?
hmmm this is smart, im gonna try it
would any meat work? like alternative meat for pork, i can use lama meat? or does it have to be exactly pork?
I'm not understanding I craft only 1 thing out of the box and then give it to him and he gives me a box that's worth a lot?
i wish he would have explained the UI of the npc cause i have no idea what im looking at lol other than that this was a great guide im about to try to follow this today
Are you supposed to cook everything in the box? idgi
Hi is it worth im buying meat from market and make stir-fried meat to make imperial coooking my mastery is 515 thx
So useful, thank you!
What about lean meat salad?
I've found that you can use milk and cooking honey for everything thats needed for Milk tea
And i use my meat n such voor lean meat salad. It's quite a good one!
For the short run, it's quite good for daily Imperial, but for the long run. You'll need a lot of milk. Like A LOT.
I think you already reach Master Cooking. I suggest to look at Yellow Meals. They're very good.
@@aeriushox4675 Uh, milk is not needed at all, lean meat requires 8 pork, 3 peppers, 2 vinegar, and 4 dressing. Dressing just needs 1 egg, 1 olive oil, 2 salt, and 1 mineral or purified water. Nothing in this full recipe needs milk, so idk what you looked up
@@SuperSaiyanZoroark He said milk tea
@@aeriushox4675 he said he uses lean meat salad, and if you really needed to point out something that the name of the item is called there must be some very blind people

I'm supposed to be figuring out the secrets of the world, defeating monsters and gods that threaten the world...
Yet my hands they were not meant for killing and wielding weapons but to cook and that alone
My friends are out fighting in guild wars and shit and I'm sitting here harvesting crops and picking pretty flowers.
essence of lickore and the city of heedel
Very good guide. To bad the rng boxes went away this week at least for pc that is.
