Being a leader is basically being a good parent who gives space for his kids to try and fail and learn but knows when to step in
You can then pickup on the places where the child fails. Reinterpret failures as places that need work Failures is sucess, in progress 😊
Wow, your sharing is always backed up with deep thinking & is always as great as you are.👏
Thank you Simon, wise words.
I completely agree with your view that developing trust inside a team is futile. This is because of the fact that building trust within a team is equivalent to ensuring that each member feels comfortable and at ease when cooperating. It all come down to being reliable, respectful, and honest. People may collaborate effectively and freely exchange ideas when they have trust one another. When someone in a trustworthy team makes mistakes, the errors are viewed as teaching moments. Leaders should foster an atmosphere where people collaborate to find answers and where it's OK to own up to mistakes.
So appreciate the bite-sized nuggets of wisdom option for those of us with TV-fueled short attention spans who can't seem to finish a single book but starts so many! ;-)
Thanks you . This is a value speech.

In India, it is reverse, we definitely follow & give our life for leaders who are uneducated 😆😆🤣🤣🤣
"Sinek was born in Wimbledon. His mother is Jewish and of Hungarian Jewish descent.[2] As a child, he lived in Johannesburg, London, and Hong Kong before his family settled in the United States. He graduated in 1991 from Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest in Bergen County, New Jersey[3] and then studied at Brandeis University and studied law at City, University of London.[1]" - Wikipedia, Early Life and Education
Knowing he’s of Jewish decent makes me like him all the more. 🥳
Waw such an impressive man
Seems like you are school friends 😂
But how to “deal with” the “leader1/manager” who is the opposite of that “good/effective “ leader.
Micromanaging necessarily is not a bad thing at least not in a family context. There was a comedian who said I went on vacation with my wife and the phone died on us as they reached their destination and recharged the phone they noticed 10 missed phone calls from family. The son calls talks to mom assuring he is fine after conversation is over mom hands the phone to dad and the chain goes all the way to grandma and grandpa who state their blood pressure went up as they were worried what took place. Grandson cuts the conversation short stating if he talks to the remaining families it will be time for their return from vacation 😄. This is very common in most cultures and it’s quite admirable I would say
This does not make sense. What does it have to do with micromanaging
That did not require 13mins. Waited to hear the truth about stuff but didn’t get anything
