Playing through the game again as young Kratos is going to be a blast. One small thing I wished they added, but I’m not complaining about, was if they had the Golden Fleece as a chest armor piece to complete is GOW3 look.

You know one thing I noticed about the Blade of Olympus? Every version of the Spartan Rage involved Kratos being visibly and vocally furious. Every version... except for Legacy. In Legacy Rage mode, Kratos summons the Blade of Olympus with relative calm, and is no more visibly/vocally furious in his attacks with it than with other weapons (save maybe for an angrier face). In fact, Mimir doesn't even tell Kratos to try and control himself during the rematch against Thor in Asgard if he uses the Legacy version of the Spartan Rage. And I likes to think that it is because in that form, Kratos has absolute and complete control over himself and his power as the God of War, to the point that even at his most enraged during a combat, he retains that full self-control. Mimir doesn't tell Kratos to control himself against Thor because he already does.

However u are right about the yelling and visible anger Other than the veins that pop up on his skin he does seem visibly calmer while using legacy when compared to fury valour and wrath
Seeing Kratos dish out that wicked combo to punch Heimdal was and still is very satisfying. Anticipated the block to grab the hand and lay one on him. Looks even more menacing without the beard. Glad he's on our side.
I can't put my finger on it but the version sitting on the throne at the end of the DLC looks even meaner. It's probably just the expression but I'm not sure, it looks more rugged in the face
Can we just agree that some places are just beautiful when you activate the blade of olympus kinda like at 31:16 since that rage made makes the color red pop more just the trees and the flowers (even the small weird red lights in the floor) just pop even more compared to everything around it

For me at least, I feel like the sword is a bit on the smaller side. Though that is the only gripe I have, I'm so happy that we can finally use the Blade of Olympus officially.

When you look at young kratos you knew the guy are up to murder, bloodbath, and vengeance, he would left trails of blood and fell every gods who stood in his way but when you look at old kratos you see a level headed god that knew how to restrain himself yet you knew you could felt assured that when the time comes he could overcome any adversaries in front of him

It's not real. Canonically he could only use it again in Valhalla, due to it manifesting from Kratos' memories of it. He can't use it again outside of Valhalla. That's why it's only usable in Valhalla mode and New Game+.

I was wondering why the rage bar doesn’t drained quickly then I realized you can regain some by blocking.
There are also some amulets and gears that can drops health stones and makes them restores some of your Rage bar back.

The only reason people use it in the base game is because the devs are awesome, but him having outside of Valhalla is probably not possible, yes? That's how I think it
It's not real. Canonically he could only use it again in Valhalla, due to it manifesting from Kratos' memories of it. He can't use it again outside of Valhalla. That's why it's only usable in Valhalla mode and New Game+.
My favorite moment of the game tbh Kratos and artreus get Fenrir back because of garm first thing that man says is “sit” had to test if that was really his dog 😭
