For anyone wondering when Baldur died here is what happened. In Norse mythology(and in game) Baldur has a spell on him that makes him impervious to all sources of damage and harm. A real shame that Thor didn’t survive. I get the feeling that Kratos and Thor would’ve been good friends.
Here's a question, why did all the other norse god's bodies remain intact, but Thor's dissolved like the common enemies?
Thor in the games is the only elemental god among the Aesir. Baldur is supposed to be the god of joy, light, and beauty; but he was too corrupted by the insanity his curse brought on him.
The developers explained they just did this so this corpse wouldn’t be laying around in the battle field, it would look awkward.
Plus, one less thing to render.
Mimir just there experienced every catastrophic events of kratos
I love how kratos didn't want to kill beaten up modi as there would no need to kill him he was already shit when he found him
And I love how hiemdiele could see into them and seek their actions yet he couldn't see kratos plans that's sparten level battle IQ
That’s not spartan level IQ, that’s that god killing IQ
Kratos gave odin's gang many warnings, they attacked him first
Every Norse character: haha stupid Greek bald man not so tough
(Kratos calmly ends their bloodline)
At 25:41 when thor says “I’m sick of u and your son!” Someone should make a mod where kratos saying “but I’m just getting started with u and ur daughter” 🤣
God beating heimdall to death was *so fucking satisfying.*
Baldur's first words: Come on Out. Baldur's last word: Snow.
Heimdall's first word: Hello. Heimdall's last word: Monster.
Thor's first words: May I come in? Thor's last word: No.
Odin's first words: You know who I am? Odin's last words: I will never stop.
Thor's last word was "Thruid.."
@@Mad_Nomad-j8n Odin said that. Thor could say nothing.
@@giinofc dude, Thor's last word was Thrud
@@Mad_Nomad-j8n "No"
@@giinofc His daughter's name was last word
You can hear an eviler, darker Talion in Magni, even draws his blade and stands like him too, fun to see voice actors influence their characters in such ways
Kratos should go after the Egyptian gods, then there will be like at least 6 more god of wars
Heimdal’s death was extremely satisfying
I love how he just says “no.”
Are we going to ignore how smooth that transition was 24:43
what
it wasn’t even a transition
The start of that Baldur boss fight is so SICK!
I swear Odin was one of the best boss fights of the franchise
I just realized how much hurt modi felt and why kratos felt, and baldurs chance was stolen. It all hurts deep down in the heart, and i now realize.
Nice video I love all of ur vids keep up the good content😊
This is by far one of the best stories that has come out of modern mainstream media.
The creators should be proud of themselves.
No political motive, no shallow, boring characters-just a tale of redemption and growth.
Young Atreus was so iconic and funny
Heimdall really thought he was frieza- he did die like frieza though sooo…. Eh?
Weak old grandpa scream 💀 34:30
Odin kinda looks young and old at the same time
AAUUGH
For anyone wondering when Baldur died here is what happened. In Norse mythology(and in game) Baldur has a spell on him that makes him impervious to all sources of damage and harm. The thing is in Norse mythology the plant, Mistletoe, is too “young” to agree to that pact and is subsequently the only thing that can harm Baldur but it also happens to be able to break the curse for an unknown reason.
This video isn’t every god Kratos killed, it’s every Norse god that died
Yeah, its almost like that's what the title says
Idk why but when Magni and Modi said “ÓÐR BRÓÐIR BLINÐR” it was pretty cool, also Baldur’s scream when he hit Atreus was AWESOME
4:54 me: WHY DIDNT YOU KEEP THE PART
Odin was getting jumped and you know it's bad when yo head bounces off concrete
Dad: I'll get some milk
Son: No I will not let you get a-
Dad: 29:51
bro did not want this.
I like in the first act kratos is struggling to break baldur's neck because he's holding back but in ending he just breaks it like a lid
God of war is an absolute Masterpiece!! 💯
What’s Strange about 9pm is that his hands makes him look like he wants to thank them or apologize, and Frey’s ruined it.
Me confused about the freyr part:
17•56 Baldur ❤️ Freya
It'll be good if they make kratos team up with thor against odin
