absolutely fantasic coin, regal stacker always has amazing submissions, i just bought a nice gothic florin, i am on the look out for the godless florin now. id love to own the gothic crown, but theyre arent cheap, a royal mint sales rep rang me recently seeing if id like to buy a gothic crown , the price was a coll £5k. beautiful rainbow tones, a dream coin, hopefuly one day..lol, great video numi.
Awesome coin- I don't know much about the conservation process - will it alters the toning?Looking forward to seeing the results. Great to see the detail and edge lettering. Thank you for documenting
"I'd like to point out that these coins used to belong to Regal Stacker, but NOW THEY"RE MINE, HA HA HA...!!" It's totally worth it to skip town and keep these coins. A life on the run with these two lovely ladies is not a bad trade off, if you ask me.
These are beautiful coins and great story about them. The crown I will never own, but, Cthulhu willing, I will obtain "Godless" and "Gothic" florins in great quality one day. I hate to be a stickler, but in this video you mispresented "Godless" florin as "Gothic" florin. We all know those are 2 different distinct coins. In fact the plastic pouch even reads 'Godless' type.
Yes that’s my attraction too love the history and since you got me into soverigns I am hooked bought as you suggested the 89 and 2017 but since I focus on gold silver ratio I still lean silver for now but you get me pulled away
+damonz83 it is one that is very special and shows what can be done and shows up the poor work that’s done by most mints at this point in time with few exceptions.
Can you just imagine the secret doors that many people aren't aware in the building that you was showing where the ball had taken place of passion and silk Embroidery Empire of the Vampire maybe the vampiress lost her ring well there must be some hidden treasures in this building full of chest of coins and golden nuggets
Lovely coins as always. I am not sure what Regal is expecting by re-submitting the PF61 to conservation. It seemed to be accurately graded (lots of hairlines on the obverse). Moreover, conservation is generally be more successful on Gold...don't see any reason why this silver coin would need conservation.
+Larry Stendebach I think it’s wishful thinking just in case. Maybe it will get to 62 and for the fun of trying. I agree totally that Gold conservation is worth doing more of the time.
It's funny how things are working in numismatics. Victoria's Gothic crown with mintage of 8000 pieces for all types is so popular and one of the most sought coins on the market when 1826 George IVth crown with mintage of only 150 pieces is much less popular coin than Gothic crown.
Gatta meaning neck where the head fits flourishing thought the ancient Romans always paid attention to the spine and the back and the neck and their nose I Can Dream like a harem harime camp of females all dressed up and ready for sale
To be honest I don't see the point of conserving it because there's nothing to conserve also the holder was a new style it wasn't and old holder I think it will come back the same grade but it's a beauty
There's NOTHING worse than a coin stuck in a Plastic Coffin (Slabbing), and given a FAKE 'grade'. The Americans have NO idea how to grade a coin! Also, there's the Gothic Crown of 1853, which is FAR rarer, I think the mintage was 460. Apparently, there's an exceedingly rare Victoria Crown from 1879 too. Then there's the extremely rare Crowns of George IV, and William IV...

Superb! Nice collectible condition.
It would be nice to see the coin when it had been renovated and compare the before and after effects...... Cheers..... Is the coin sterling silver?

The holy grail of collectible British coins.
I bought the soverign book you suggested was very surprised to see m many of these old coins they made millions of
+Robert Walterman they melted almost all pre-Victorian Sovereigns and up to 80,000,000 in 1917 I think
The best silver coin in every way.
