Hi Numi..another great video! I know what it means to spend a good chunk of money on a high end coin. I just recently purchased an MS-62 (NGC) 1927-S Standing Liberty Quarter! I've been after this coin for quite sometime, as they're extremely difficult to find in MS condition. I loved seeing all of these beautiful gold sovereigns. I actually own a couple of these as well! Keep up the good work...love all of your videos!

Stacking is a good way to build wealth and I guess unless I would have stacked something I would not have eventually bought this one

Numi, a couple of thoughts: first, the price-point on these types of coins has been literally exploding over the last 20 or so years. Not sure how much more growth they have. Personally, I find that there certainly is less and less material coming up that is affordable so pick my "targets" accordingly.
The interesting bit is that this has gradually driven me, and possibly others, back to getting a bit more of the bullion coins that we started with.
Another is that I am not sure that I agree with the buying "first coin going at budget" to become available. I have participated in many auctions where the earlier coins seem to create some wallet fatigue (or other reasons) and later coins coming up then go for a bit lower than might have been projected.
Buying at auction is difficult and I targeted 2 auctions. The big problem is once you have spent it then you have spent it and if something else turns up later in the auction is difficult to find the budget for it.

I just bought a 1 Ducat gold coin form Jm Bullion. I was looking at the 10 Franc 'Rooster' gold coin but then the Ducat popped up. Of all the sovereigns, the 1 Ducat was the only one that had a gold content of .986. All other sovereigns had a gold content of .900 or .911 at best. So I decided on getting the 1 Ducat. Ill be looking to get another one if its still available on Friday. Whats you opinion on this? Thank you

Wow the last auction for this coin in PR63 condition at Heritage Auctions in the US in 2016 fetched a final price of over USD $3K.... certainly not a cheap coin.....
Just checked heritage and the last sale for this coin was a PR64 coin sold for $23000
would love to own the Edwardian canadian sovereing ; in demand and extremely low mintage. But for the price is really high for ms-63+ ...

I think NGC would be delighted to grade this one however I can’t see any real benefit in cross grading it at this point

A beautiful, rare and valuable coin but is it advisable to put all your eggs in one basket, or a basket with just one egg in it? If i had £8.000 t spend I would put it into top grade silver crowns pre 1780.......and enjoy a number of them.
"Coin grading IS Subjective". Are the graders paid by the big high end rare coins. I wouldn't want to sell off my coins, lose money to get that 1 Rarity. Guess it's the 1887 Cameo Proof Nubile Queen Victoria Proof in Excellent Condition like that Victoria Proof Set. Great Job and Thanks Again for your input though You Tube.
