The un septimo variety is the rarest of the edge lettered type, but according to ESC,the VIP type of the pure AG is level R-6,meaning there are only 3-4 that exist ,and the "normal" type are level R-3 or R-4,meaning there are maybe 50 of those. I believe only 5 of either type have been graded by PCGS or NGC.8K mintage is pretty low. There are no run of the mill Gothic Crowns, which are still legal tender as they were not put on the 1971 decimilisation list.William Wyon did an amazing job on the obverse, but William Dyce did an amazing job on the reverse as well.IMO,its the most beautiful coin ever minted in Great Britain
probably the prettiest coin of 19th century. love the history behind these special coins. the script is so olde english , heritage have some really nice coins showcasing before the sale, a lovely mercury dime 1916 d grabs my attention ms67 ..with full bands. iconic effigies
Stunning coins and presentation! This is one where collectors can buy a really nice original version for reasonable money. Your versions have that additional rarity factor and will do really well at the auctions that starve currently for material , but these un decimo are great but also attainable coins for the collector!
That is a very stunning coin; the reverse detail is phenomenal. Would like to see this design or I've heard on various forums that maybe The Three Graces would be next in The Great Engravers series. Any word on when The Royal Mint expects to release the second coin in that series?
I've got a proof set of silver coinage, the emblems, and the shield, they are in excellent condition, 14 coin's in all, what sort of cost would I be looking at to grade these, And would it be worth it?

The plain edge versions are perhaps 10-20 times rarer than the UNDECIMO version

Wonderful coins. I still cannot imagine why the Royal Mint didn't restrike this in the Great engravers collection like they did with the Una.
