Great assortment of modern crowns. 2:55 Sharjah is one one the Arab Trucial States. In 1973 those Gulf States united to UAE (United Arab Emirates), well known for their capacities on oil. I think this Kennedy coin was an agency issue. Greets from GER, U.
Apparently, not only is that 1918 Tallero a one year design, it was the last year of the Tallero coin being minted, being phased out for Lire paper currency round 1921 under Italian Eritrea. Present day Eritrea uses the Nakfa.
I think both the Sharjah coin and the Yemen Churchill coins are both technically Exonumia. The Sharjah coin is interesting. Apparently one of the Leaders of Sharjah commissioned that coin but wasn't allowed to and so they were never officially monetized.
Wow, I don't have those South Africa comm., or The South Rhodesia or That particular Moroccan, don't have Portugal, Turkish, comm.Czech comm. French comms, French Polynesian 5franc, Lithuania silver, Luxembourg 5 francs, Russian Rouble, Colombian Peso, excellent grouping of gorgeous silver coins!!! Gary Bailey Way to go ave full Birr Coin Either, or the 5 Pengo, not comm. Balboas, or Behrani, or Yeman, Bataan,
12:57 - that's Soviet 5 ruble, NOT Russian. To confuse the Soviet Union and Russia is the same to confuse the United Kingdom and England. That's not the same, you're ignorant. PS. That's not insane, that's modern rubbish (except few coins).
12:57 It's not russian its soviet (USSR), do you know that Soviet Union consisted of 15 republics and Russia was main but still just one of them? By saying Russian you deny the existence of the other 14 countries that were part of the union, essentially giving away a typical imperial point of view because of which there is now a war in Ukraine, and before that in Georgia. I see this narrative in almost all Americans.

The early editions of Krause Mishler's World Coins have some of the odd ball countries, the Kennedy coin is probably listed there.
Awesome video Christian! Top notch dude!

Beautiful world crowns (my favourite). Nothing that rare but some of them look in great shape. Hopefully not cleaned…. Thanks for showing them 👍

The Canadian olympic coins were part of a larger collection of 5 and 10 dollar coins I believe there were 8 designs in proof and unc.

1842 Victoria is a half crown but I’m sure it says it on the paper inside the flip
And ofc the 1889 one is a double florin (4 shilling)
And I have a lot of these in my collection… still love seen them
Thank you!
I got that Sharjah coin too, Sharjah is city in UAE. I thought that was interesting too. Not sure why they had JFK on their coin.
Cool, thank you!
It kills me when people say the British trade dollars were “made in Hong Kong”
Exactly zero were made in Hong Kong

Well, I know the difference between USSR and Russia.
Thanks for the perspective.
