- With a south-westerly airflow bringing mild, drizzly and breezy conditions, I headed inland for a fly fishing session targeting rainbow trout in Llyn Brenig, north Wales. Along a sheltered shoreline I chose a spot where plenty of fish were moving, and in the few hours I was there I managed a nice brace of trout, one taken on an orange headed nymph and another on a small wet fly pattern. I hope you enjoy this video and, if so, please Like and Subscribe.
Many thanks!

the sky looks cloudy but you keep on fishing and manage to get fish. what a great effort.
Keep the spirit my friend.. let's go fishing 👍
Thanks and I'm looking forward to watching some of your videos - I love seeing fishing in other parts of the world.
Went trout fishing on a small brook a couple of weeks ago, fished it as a boy, caught 3 small wild brownies and the memories came flooding back....
That's exactly how I started fishing, I used to plunge my hand into my Dad's compost heap, grab a few worms, and run down to the stream. Lovely memories.
Gret video as always!!
Glad you enjoyed it! First fly fishing session of the season, next trip maybe I'll target the wild brown trout of the Welsh mountain lakes.
Good dangling there mate, North Wales is a lovely part of the world! I ought to get down there more often. Good luck with the channel, I've just subbed. 👍
Thanks a lot. Subbed back - looking forward to watching your vids, especially the Hebridean ones, love that part of the world.
@@anglersbureau cheers! Back again this August, hoping for more saltwater sea trout sport and possibly 1st fly caught pollock !! 👍
Gret video as always!!
Thank you, another one on the way - this time on the dry fly.
