    Hi Jake
Another fantastic video, love them all.
I got some of your joey mackerel flies tied up last season, wow, caught many limit bags with them, nearly all within an hour.
I gave a good few away and they all got back to me saying they had bagged up with them. A fantastic fly.
Having some of your straggle damsels being tied up now, hope they work as well as the joey mackerel ones.
Keep up the videos, they are brilliant.
    Cheers

      Hi Jake
You are making great videos, just what we all need, when we can’t always get out on a lake.
      Keep them coming, absolutely brilliant.
      Very much appreciated.

Hi Jake. These natural waters can be hard, and it is usually the tiny dries that catch. I don't know whether you have ever been, but Llyn Brenig is a stocked reservoir that has that wild feel about it and the views are stunning. I have fished it on numerous occasions, mainly from the boat but these days I tend to fish the banks. They are far more accessible than where you were, and the fish quality is superb. I can highly recommend it.

Great video! The conditions look very tough, flat calm and bright skies are no good on wild waters, especially with high banks as the fish can see you way off. Wind and cloud would have seen a completely different result.

Thankyou, yes I believe if we had we had the boat from early morning we would have connected with some fish! Definitely make another visit in the new season! Was good fun to fish somewhere new nonetheless! Diolch.

You need to cast twice and then move couple feet for the wild fish keep moving

Don't be too dismissive of lures and concentrate on natural patterns, i regularly fish upland llyns and have had a few wild Brownies on mini lures, particularly Cats Whiskers.
Wals has an embarrassment of riches with Wild Brownies and i believe the Cambrian Angling Association waters to be among the best, particularly Llyn Gamallt.
Conditions look tough the day you fished. Much prefer wild llyn fishing to stocked waters these days.
