Sheesh man. Divorce scares me. I still want to give marriage a chance because i want to have children. However, i'd be lying if i didnt say divorce doesn't scare me.
@@identifiesas65.wheresmyche95 Thanks! I always thought that. I look at it from the perspective of playing defense and offense. Depending on the context.
I'm 50.. would love to live with my mom again. But I can't . She's dead. You're 26, healthy and still have your mom and your hair :) Don't worry so much. A few good friends is all you need. Live life day by day. Start worrying if you turn 40+ and you're struggling. Robots will probably take over in 20 years though so we'll all have the same problem.. or solution. Good Luck!
Same, except mine are alive, but live in a different country. I've been on my own since age 20. He's lucky to be able to have the option to live at home with his mom.
Im 39, have a job but doesnt pay well enough to live on my own so i live with my mom. Im researching into what degree to do because i dont want to be poor forever. What advice do you have?
Well said. I'm 52, single not married no kids lived plenty on my own then moved back at 47 to take care of my dying mother at the time along with my elderly father. My mother since passed but I decided to stay to live with my 88 yr old father because when he's elderly and needs help. I cherish every day we get to hang out because his days will likely run out eventually long before mine.
@@magamaga1827 I went through a long time of depression, just shutting myself in and didnt appreciate my mother enough. I had too many negative people in my life that made me this way. But recently I made a decision to stop living by other peoples expectations and to break through my depression and work hard on my projects. I gained the strength to spend more time with my mother and appreciate her more. I wasted too much time in the darkness. If you dont me asking, what age was your mother when she passed away?
Stay strong my guy. I was in the military from 18-25 , got out and within 6 months had a felony conviction and all my plans was gone in blink of an eye .Thought my life was over (still is a bit) but I kept going and now 6 years later I’m 6 months away from finishing my Ibew electrical apprenticeship making over 120k..life changes quickly just got to keep going
Congratulations! I’m a huge fan of the trades and apprenticeships. One of my sons is a journeyman ironworker. He works for a public utility and earns about $150k a year.
An electrician! That's impressive. I'm being serious. If you were not making 120K a year I would say be careful and don't get anyone pregnant. My mother she would say that. She said it to my brother and she told me not to get pregnant and she told my husband not to get me pregnant. All three of us listened. Or we would be in worth shape financially Than we are now. Well except for my ex-husband. He divorced me got remarried had twins lost one of them the other one (a girl) was 16 years old and then he had two strokes and died. His daughter still pissed off. I'm probably still pissed off. Weird thing, in trying to convince him not to have children my mother told him he was going to have twins because twins run in our family. So he didn't have any children with me but he still had twins. Anyway he's been dead for 9 years. His daughter thinks it has something to do with his third wife. I don't know whether she's exaggerating or maybe all the things that she put in her video actually happened. But I can understand her being angry. So I mean if you want kids have kids but if you don't, don't have them by accident. I was sort of planned but my father was jealous of me my whole life because my mother used to take care of him and then I was born and she had to take care of me. And when my grandmother died he said why don't we have another kids so when Pam is old there will be somebody to take care of her. That was the smartest thing he did. No he did other smart things. Just not emotionally smart. Sometimes my brother is a pain but I am glad he is here and we have the same sense of humor. It just seems to me that a lot of people have children by accident and then this leads to financial problems if they are not ready. But obviously you can afford to have them. I think my brother could have been an electrician but he ended up doing computers. And I can't say exactly what it is that he does with computers. It seems like pretty much everything.
I have no idea how I , a mother of 5 adult children in Canada, came upon your video after Christmas, 2am in the morning ,lol, but you are an amazing young man. You are obviously very smart, bright, and good looking !!! I hope that you have help with your mental health, as my youngest son, 24, struggles to, 2 of my adult children still live at home, many do these days, that's not a big issue, you have an amazing future ahead of you. Do not let anyone, or anything stop you from believing in yourself. There nothing wrong with your employment you have now. You do not need more than a friend, one good one is a blessing. You will find your way. God Bless you !

I’m 70. Retired a couple years ago. I was in your situation in the 1970s. Math degree, living at home, working in a factory. I saw an ad for a programming school. Went, got a job and did several different types of computer work over the years. For me the key to success was being open to new opportunities, never typecasting myself, staying flexible at work. In life, just be you. Find happiness in yourself. Do TH-cam until something new moves you.

37 and i live with my mother 😂. I love it and she loves it. No need to let societal pressure ruin your life. We work together because on our own we were both in rough shape. We do great now and both are happy and healthy. Dont think there was even one time we were ever mad at eachother in the last ten years.

Look into the trades, they are in demand and after a few years pay a lot. Trades i.e. Carpentry, HVAC, welding, plumbing etc. Depending where you live, most counties offer trade schools for training.

I was in a similar situation. I graduated in 2010 with a BS in Mathematics and a BA in Psychology. I struggled to find a job. I worked tutoring children in math for a few years. A family member gave me information on a free program where you could go to a trade school for free. I went to my local vocation school and signed up for the only class available which was electrical. I fell in love after the first class. After graduating the trade school, I ended up joining the union. It has been a true blessing. There are so many mathematical concepts involved in the electrical field and I use them daily along with the engineers. Good luck! Don't give up! There is something out there for everyone.
Not gonna lie if you moonlighted or still did math tutoring or started a business on the side you'd be golden. As someone who struggled in pre calc and chem. I would've paid an arm and a leg for assistance. Also, i switched to nursing and i liked it so much so i gave up on the math & science. After 3 times retaking pre calc and finally getting a C. I had to wave goodbye to my dreams of being. a doctor, dentist, physician assistant and i had to settle for nursing. Which was a blessing in disguise.

You are a success, you just don’t realize it yet. The twenties are probably the hardest decade of life for some reason. Stay strong. Take risks. Don’t take it all too seriously.
You have a brain and a work ethic. I’m in my early 40 and I feel like my life didn’t get started adult wise until 30. Keep this video and look at it in a couple years. It would be motivating for sure
34 year old here. I had 10 years of experience in software security (doing vulnerability research, 0days and stuff), and worked for 4 years at Microsoft until last year. I got fired last year due to mental health struggles. Lost my work visa, had to leave my friends behind and move back to Europe. Disillusioned by the corporate world, unable to find a job, moved back in with my parents. Currently working on some projects by myself, spent the last month burning the last of my savings living in hotels in Iceland with my laptop, trying to get some work done and not feel like a loser living with my parents. A lot of traumatic events also happened in the last year, and found myself completely isolating myself. Struggle with depression a lot. But you just got to keep going, life tends to find a way if you persevere, no matter how bleak things may seem... you are very young, still at the very beginning of your life, things will turn out fine :D.
Was it really mental health struggles or were u a dickhead teammate? I work in software engineering and I work with A LOT of self righteous people who later get fired and blame “mental health” lol.
I’m 40, and I had a similar career path as you. I have no suggestions beyond just “time multiplied by the effort you put into it equals opportunity”. (Not guaranteed success, but more chances). I wasn’t in a “good” place on career and life until I hit my 30’s. Please do not get discouraged.
Hi Rob. When I was 24, I was highly accomplished with an undergraduate and masters degree. I proceeded to ruin my life with mental health issues to the point of dropping out losing my status and sitting at home (This was around January). I started my Ph.D. in the fall of 2020, at 25 (after a year and a half of living with my dad) and I am on track to finishing at 30 (will finish next year right after turning 31), and have landed a job as an incoming tenure-track assistant Prof. Life is really hard but you are so young and I am exhibit A of how spectacularly life can turn around! Please keep trying!! All the best to you!
Hey, thanks for sharing your story and congrats on the job! Sorry you went through those mental health struggles though. I know it’s not easy at all to get a tenure track assistant professor position, so that’s amazing. I will definitely keep trying/going! Thanks!
Graduated High School and on my 18th birthday I got luggage as a present. I got the hint, loaded my pickup with everything I owned which fit in the front seat and traveled 6 hours from my home town to a major city. I slept in my pickup at parks and showered at the YMCA when I could until I found a job. That job eventually led to a career and after 30 years I retired at the age of 51 with a pension, healthy TSP and benefits. I’m 59 now and have been living life large. I never gave up on myself. Good luck.
OMG, you are so smart. I was terrible with math and only just finished pre-calculus. I struggled like you when I was in my 20s. At age 23 I met a man who went to college at a slightly older age. I decided to do the same and received an Associates degree in Accounting. I took a few bookkeeping jobs, part time, while raising my 3 kids. Finally went back to college with kids half my age and got a Bachelor's degree in Accounting at age 42. I was determined to use it and took a professional job with the state. It involved a move across the state, new house, new place for the kids schools and very difficult emotionally, but looking back now, I'm age 66 and retired. It was the best move I could have made for myself and my children. You never know what is ahead for you. Just keep moving forward. In the end my dream job wasn't in accounting but was in computer programming, writing programs for the state's tax deparment audit group. I loved it because I'm a bit of an introvert and could work all day on puzzles (the programming) without anyone bothering me.
❤❤❤ thank you for sharing! I hope 🤞 I will find my dream job someday. I’m 44 and have not found anything that makes me happy to go to work everyday. You are def blessed. 🥲
hey Rob, you will make it. Heads up. I was lost and listless for many years. The fact that you are doing UberEats shows your resilience and willingness to fight through the odds. Keep hustling and trying different things until something clicks. Living at home with your mom is a blessing and helps you keep the costs low. Don't bother about those who laugh, once you make it, the past will be all but a memory.
My entire existence is characterized by profound suffering, depicted by deep despair and marked by a constant sense of anguish, filled with overwhelming distress and relentless misery.
Rob, I appreciate your vulnerability and what you’ve accomplished in college. I just turned into my 20s this year, and I am psychology major in college. I had a hard time figuring out my future with that major, I just didn’t have the right idea of what Invest my time in, and calling it a life long passion. Mathematical knowledge is a huge part of life and problem solving too. I hope you find luck in starting a class, and continue learning to inspire others.
I love your authenticity. I was in your situation 20 years ago and then joined the army. There is no right path. Wishing you the best of luck in your endevours.
Thank you for the video. I'm right there with you brother. I'm 26, got a degree in math and cs. I had a solid defense contracting job, but I left it because I felt depressed doing it. I tried going back to college. I was in John Hopkins A.I. masters program and left because it became too expensive, then I was in ODU's modeling and sim masters, but left because it wasn't for me. I live with my parents too. I spend my days doing the only thing I can do and that's my best. I work on projects, I exercise, and I game a little on the side. I think we'll make it. I'm gonna go hard trying to be the person I want to become. I think that's the only thing we can do.
Honestly, math is probably the most useful thing to have a good grasp of. It’s like literally the “fundamentals” of all physics, engineering, and computer science/IT work. I think y’all will eventually be okay. Maybe try to network a bit with people once you’re 100% in the “career hunt phase” so someone can maybe help put you onto something.
Hi Rob, I am also a math major, currently doing my masters in math (not in the US). I also struggled a lot to find my way in life, but started almost a year ago now an online art business, and it really throws a lot of light to what used to be my confusing and unstable life. Sometimes a hobby you enjoy and share with others helps you make an income, connect with people and give more structure to your life. Don't feel bad for your age, you are very young. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself for meeting milestones that are not the priority now (who cares if you live with your mom, or don't have a lot of friends right now?), be kind to yourself and let you grow. You have a new subscriber and supporter!
Thanks so much for your support and advice! I’m glad you were able to start an online art business for yourself 👍 congrats on that, that’s amazing. And thanks for subbing!
You are a creative person; explore that more. And don't worry, 26 is still incredibly young. I know it seems "older" when you are there, but it's not--wishing you a happy new year. Onward.
Hi! Thank you for sharing your story. I think that's really cool you're an Uber Eats driver and mathematician. I lived with my parents in my late 20's, and didn't move out on my own until I was nearly 30. Now that both of them have passed away, I can say I am grateful for that time I got to be with them. You have a bright future ahead, and I believe you will find your way. Good luck on your Master’s degree in math education. God bless you!
Honestly, I’m way more impressed by people who are able to complete “math major” by default than any other field! Life happens, including your struggles with mental health - sometimes it takes some trial and error before you find a masters program you like! Your story is even more inspiring in that you had to navigate around those challenges and still find the field you’re passionate about! 👍
i’m 22, I did maths and physics, graduated around October 2023 and still haven’t found my first job.. i was going to do a masters after my BSc but due to mental health I decided I should take a break for a bit. I’ve been living at home and trying to keep motivated working on coding projects and stuff but it’s been quite tough
Hey, you're doing great! My parents would never let me even live with term. Sometimes, I feel behind, but I know that's not really the case for me and most people. It's just in ones head.
I was stuck in retail working in management despite having an accounting degree until age 26. I burned out and was dangerously depressed for like 8 months straight, which effected my interviewing. Started being a self employed bookkeeper to make part-time income since I couldn't find work. Didn't replace my lost income until age 28 since my only 2 clients worked out to 7 hours/week. A year later, I own a corporation where I make way more than I would in accounting as a CPA (marketing). Stayed with my supportive parents until age 29, and now that I'm 30 I've started a lifelong journey of constant reading and growth at my own rented place. I feel like you're going to do really well as you work through life - your level of education is NOT easy to attain, and you're obviously well spoken/intelligent. Gonna sound cringey with this self-help plug, but Jim Rohn/Tony Robbins books during leisure time really helped me get organized. Look forward to continuing to learn and grow - bad times will pass like it did for me. Wishing you the best.
Accounting is a great major. Everyone I ever met who was an accounting major and or CPA has been at least half ass successful in life including myself and if I am that alone has to tell you something. Good luck to you in the future.
Hey bud! Same here. I’m 27 and got my BS in mathematics. Live with my parents. I decided to go to grad school to get my phd in applied statistics. Wish me luck.
KEEP APPLYING. I've started my FIRST job at 27, after 1 year + 9 months of unemployment. KEEP APPLYING, apply for different options too this is the most important part. May God help us.
There’s a whole universe within you waiting to be discovered. You’re not just living a life; you’re writing a masterpiece. I think literal thinkers often miss out because they assume that being smart automatically means they’ll go far or that they deserve to go further than others. That mindset can slip into ableism-the belief that being “smarter” makes us better. What we really need is to dissolve into love. And no, that’s not just hippie talk-it’s the truth. I’ve dissolved many times, broken myself down, and reshaped who I am. And I’ll keep doing it. No matter the struggles I face, I’ll love my life. I’ll always choose love.
Hey man, you seem like a really good guy. I think most people struggle with finding their way after 25, loosing friends, finding new ones, questions over career... it's tough for sure. Here's a few tips: Internships are such a great way to get into companies, Google, TH-cam, Microsoft - all the big tech companies have incredible internships that seemingly no one knows about. I worked at Google and saw people just like you get a year long paid internship and it launched their careers. Search for them and apply, the competition is less than you think it is. The next tip I have is, find the problems you enjoy solving and see what jobs involve that. Don't worry too much on salary, if you're going to spend 40 hours a week solving problems for someone then make them interesting problems! Finding new friends as an adult is tough. But they are there to be found. I spent my early 30's super lonely until I found people I really clicked with. It sucks to go through but it's not forever my dude!
It is very hard to go to these companies without coming from a top university. You better have worked your ass off with outstanding personal projects to even stand a chance
I feel you bro. They sell us all on the idea of college but there is so little guidance that some people end up stumbling trying to figure it out. Keep ya head up!
Thanks for sharing your story. Ive been struggling with my path as well. Still live at home and looking for work. Anyway hope for the best with your endeavors!
I’m almost 30 and barely have it together. You seem kind hearted, smart, and humble. You’ll go far just have to be patient and take care of yourself. My friends all have super high paying jobs that I went to college with. I don’t make even half what they make. I’m constantly reminding myself that comparison is the thief of joy. It’s really difficult to find what you like to do. You’re doing great though. You should be proud of yourself
Bro I feel you. I'm 30, a neuro major, and live with my mom. I cant find a job I like. My passion lies more in the creative side of things and I just dont do well with cooperate jobs or having a "boss". I think our problem is that we are creatives and creatives struggle in hierarchies, but that's okay we must just keep trying to find our niche and work from there; lest we spend too long trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
Bro I'm 26 too, soon to be 27, and I also live at home and make no money. My brother is in his 30s, works full time, and also has to live at home. The American dream is not what it used to be. Maybe it was always a lie. I respect your resilience, life story, and overall intelligence. Keep grinding. Also living at home isn't such a bad thing. People all over the world do it until they get married. Don't worry about society's expectations. Do what makes you and your family happy.

I enjoy helping people around me as a purpose in life. I hope you find your way. You seem to me an extraordinary person.
I graduated from college back in 2021 with a design degree. I moved out West to work in tech and was part of the major layoffs of 2022. I couldnt find another job and decided to go back to school and get my masters in design. The program cut my funding after one semester and I could no longer participate in their program. Now I stay with my parents, Ive been applying to jobs for over a year now, had a couple interviews, but nothing came from them. I am 27. I look around at my peers and they're doing so well, but I remind myself they could easily have been fighting these battles before the place I see them today. I'm considering going back to school, but I'm hoping I can land a decent job first. Hope is hard to come by so thank you for sharing your story. Let's keep our head up. Love
I'm 25 and without a job for nearly 6 months. I perfectly understand your situation. I've been floundering for a while now, with little motivation for anything. But I've recently started taking some online courses to upgrade my skills and basically just keep trying. Keep going forward man, that's the only way there is.
you not the only one ive gone to so many interviews, even nailed some. Done hundreds of applications and phone calls still nothing comes through and here i am studying like crazy and sending them out still trying. Good luck mate.
I'm also 26 (also live with my mom, and struggle financially) I initially went into trades but realized it wasn't the right fit, so I went back to school for computer science, graduated and just landed a full time developer position for a company that I had interned at previously. Keep smiling and stay dedicated, Rob! Make an effort to build connections during your internships, they might just lead to your next job opportunity. Wishing you all the best!
Hey man, I'm in the same boat. I'm 26 and finishing my master's degree in finance (school takes 5 years where I'm from, 3 for bachelor's and 2 for master's) while simultaneously studying at a high school to get my goldsmith's/jewelry making degree. I never though I'd be where I am, but I've learned to enjoy the ride. I used to be way too focused on finishing school "on time" (which is arbitrary anyway) and getting a good career right away. I'm just going with the flow now - I still enjoy finance but I'm also considering starting a jewelry business and whatnot. Just do what feels right and what you like and youll get there!
Thank you for sharing your story. When I was 26 I just barely started my first job. There’s still a long life ahead of you; don’t fret about the temporary setbacks. You seem like an intelligent, sincere and goal-oriented guy. I’m sure a better life is just around the corner.
I’m a 36 year old black electrical engineering graduate. Hang in their champ. I was recently laid off and going thru it. Keep focused and focus on not accruing debt. The name of the game is staying debt free. Keep at it and good luck
That’s awesome that you graduated with an EE degree, congrats on that! I’m sorry you were going through it. Hope things have gotten better now. Appreciate your words of support.
Having a degree in Mathematics is a huge accomplishment ...Its one of those subjects in school that many students shy away from. There is absolutely nothing wrong living at home. Both my adult children live with us. Times are hard and many families are bonding together. I love my children and I am blessed to be able to help. Chin up young man.... best luck to you 💜
In my opinion, your self awareness of HOW YOU FEEL and felt before is so important and you should take pride in that. I haven't experienced what you have, but have struggled with regards to my career and the "future" and I found that alone time and doing something you can do for a few hours in your own presence is helpful not just for what you want to do in life but the overall quality of your life. Anyways, thanks for sharing and keep going.
Congratulations. Because of Mathematics, You are in a small list of people who can decide to become an engineer, a doctor a chemist a computer scientist and more. Most of us fear and don't know math and therefore are condemned to do less paying jobs. Its what you do with mathematics that matter.
The struggle with him is that while you are true a mathematician can theoretically pick up different field. But imo nobody just wants somebody who can do some math. If you want to be a chemist, gotta learn chemistry, if you wanna be an engineer, gotta learn about engineering.... Just knowing math is the first step, even if it's a big step, still the start of the journey
Surveys report the most satisfying occupations are applied math. People WITHOUT your background are the ones who are suffering. OTOH , soft social skills are important for success in almost every field.
Smile!! I haven’t got it figured out, in a similar position but know that everything happens for a reason and that something that’s best for us is lying ahead :)
Im a math educator, keep moving forward. The best thing you can do is hard things right now, go to the gym, run further than you think you can, test your physical limits. Everything else will become easier. You are 19 years younger than me, so young, push yerself to do hard things, now.
everyone finds their own way. keep going. doesn't matter. don't worry, nothing works out. just keep living and learning. thx for sharing. I was a math major as an undergrad, wound up in oceanography grad school. Math is dissatisfying because it is obvious once you understand it, but it is opaque before that, so I always felt kind of dumb. Go to grad school in-person, not online. You will make connections. Keep doing what makes sense and is functional and virtuous, let go of the pointless crap.
Hang in there. I was doing Uber Eats for 6 months trying to get by when I didn't have a job, wound up going back to tree work which I hate, and have just used it as motivation to keep applying everywhere and continuing my education by teaching myself to program and machine learning. I probably won't ever be able to get a job in those fields because of the lack of my formal education. But I do know regardless better days are ahead at some point. Just waiting on one interview to go right and get into a career I can feel good about and make a good life out of. The day will come for us both.
Thanks for sharing Brother. Keep heart :) . As someone who was also an overachiever at 26 (i'm 38 now), with the added burden of mental health challenges (depression / bipolar disorder). I can definitely relate to the journey you are on. from listening to what you are saying here, it seems like you have the answers you need to move forward in your life already inside of you. It wasn't easy when I got my start in the world in college in my 2os, moving around the country. but folks your age now have so many more complications with the cost of housing, urban unrest, inflation, and so many other things stacked against you. it can seem like the game is rigged at times. and maybe it is. I have 2 small businesses these days that are doing reasonably well. (Growing excruciatingly slowly). but i am making it. sometimes by sheer force of will. I recently took a government job, my first time working for someone else in 12 years. it was an experiment (i was also keeping my 2 businesses alive while running on empty due to sleep deprivation and a 3 hour daily commute). I really loved the job, but i have only had a handful of times in my life where I have a boss that was qualified to be my boss. that may be an arrogant way to look at it. it was a real horizon widening experience, and what it made me realize is that I wanted to rededicate myself to my own projects, even if it is feast and famine on that path, or at least feast and lean times. I guess what i am saying is some of us are meant to be self employed / freelance / contract / small business owners. there are so many ways to actualize that path now. TH-cam is one of them. So Just keep on trucking, and know that many of us can relate, even us "Old Geezers" who "should have figured it out years ago." lol --- there's no shame in living at Home in a country where BlackRock owns most of the housing stock in this country and is driving up prices due to pure greed. With as nice as a guy as you seem to be, i'm sure your parents feel privileged to have you at Home still! Happy Holidays and I hope for a brighter new year. :)
Inspiring post! I second the endorsement of the independent youtuber route (even as something on the side if Rob decides to take a full-time). Also, as someone who takes in an interest in macro economics, BlackRock does not own most of the housing stock in the US. Greed is definitely a factor but a lot of economic challenges seem to stem from government incompetence in my opinion.

Hi! I’m an LPN, currently working on my Bachelor’s degree to potentially get into Medical School. I’m 27 and I live with my parents. At this point in my life I also have felt the pressure and urge of having everything figured out by now. However, I’ve understood that we all have different timelines. We all need to work on certain things throughout our lives and careers that for some reason we just don’t understand why it’s happening the way it happens, but we just need to be patient and keep looking and working on whatever it is that was once a dream. Keep it up! You’re not alone in this! 💪🏼
idk if you'll read this but I can relate to you even though I am not in the same boat as you. im 30 and living with my mother. I did pharmacy and worked as pharmacist. Left due to mental health reasons and understood that my capability is severely disabled by my mental health issues (not depression but a personality disorder + varying anxiety degrees). I started looking for a career where earning potential is uncapped while not having had to due to humans. youtube and trading were my 2 options. I tried youtube for 6 months and I found it debilitates me for a few days each whenever I sense audience discontentment, so I fully focused on trading and trading only for the last 4 years while working partime despite how much I disliked it in the beginning. I sometimes think the world is just not made for people like us, I hope you can find success on youtube and that it'll bring you the career you deserve

I majored in applied math, finished right when covid hit so that didn't help, had a terrible time trying to land a job. I intentionally picked the hardest thing I could think of as my major, I thought it would make me marketable, had some thoughts about trying to get into aerospace. It turns out majoring in math just doesn't have enough practical application in the real world. It's just far enough on the periphery I wasn't able to get considered for anything really, programming, software engineering, data science, accounting, statistical modeling, market analytics, etc. Something you might want to look at is getting an actuary certification. I can say for certain it would take 6 months, probably more to prepare for one of the exams. I attempted to go this route and studied for the probability exam with intent. It didn't work out for me, you might have a better understanding of probability theory who knows. Some firms will take you on as a junior actuary with just one exam under your belt.
Thanks for your insight! I tried a bunch of those things too, but not actuarial science. I don’t know much about the business aspect of actuarial science. I think there are several exams that cover that material, but it’s something worth considering and again I appreciate your input.

Thank you for sharing and for the kind words. Congrats on your success with your corporation. I wish you the best as well!
All the best bro! I too feel intense guilt, but ADHD won't let me be successful. I have already been enough of a burden on parents.
Congratulations, that's amazing! Good Luck
Statistician here. Good luck, stats is awesome!
You should go write some kids marh books and workbooks. I think.only.kids read books.now.as.parents buy it for them.
@@godofgodsofhumansadhd ? Are u sure about that?
Thanks so much for all that advice and kind words 🙏🙌 really appreciate it. Best wishes 👍
It is very hard to go to these companies without coming from a top university. You better have worked your ass off with outstanding personal projects to even stand a chance
Internships no one knows about? What planet do you live in? People will apply to hundreds and get less than 5 replies, not even offers
I feel you bro. They sell us all on the idea of college but there is so little guidance that some people end up stumbling trying to figure it out. Keep ya head up!
Thanks bro 💪
Bro, I can feel you! I just want you to know, you have a beautiful soul. Don't worry, your time will come.
Thank you so much 😁🙏
Trust me. You’re on the right course. Thanks for the content. Your content is inspiring!! Thank you.
Thank you so much 🙏🙏❤️
can you say around how much do u make? just curious
I lived at home too until I was 26 years old, 32 now. Take the time you need. You're doing great.
Thanks so much 🙏
I have the same story as you man. Was a software engineer. Now driving uber, live with mom, and 1000x happier.
Yes, it's easy to be happy when you're leeching off others and placing your burdens on their shoulders.
@@PearlySwine-y1f he has a job and i assume he pays part of the bills, how is he leeching?
Why didnt you like software engineering so much that you traded for uber driving?
Hey man, I feel ya. Keep pushing and never give up. It can all change in an instant
I also admire your courage posting. This comment section is helpful and you put yourself out there in a way I wish I would.
Keep on going brother, you’re a good hearted guy with tons of talent to offer the world
Thank you I appreciate that 🤝
Bro I feel you.
🙏🙏
“Creatives struggle in hierarchies” 100% agree with that statement. 👏
Thanks for that, means a lot 🤝 best wishes with everything
I am sorry to hear about your mental health concerns. Stay strong, we're cheering for you!
Yo dude, I got my engineering degree in my mid 30's. It is never too late. 2 classes left to get my Master's and I should be getting my PE next year.

I'm a retired physician, retired special ed teacher and continue searching for a right path, living life the best I can to meet my expectations and of others.
Love
Admire your courage posting and rooting for you!
Thanks!! 🙏🙏
Always heart warming to watch a man speak candidly from his soul. The future is bright young man.
Really appreciate that 🙏❤️
I'm 25 and without a job for nearly 6 months.
I'm 26 too man in the same at home boat. It sucks, trying to find my way bro in business. Hang in there!
Thank you for sharing your story. When I was 26 I just barely started my first job. There’s still a long life ahead of you; don’t fret about the temporary setbacks. You seem like an intelligent, sincere and goal-oriented guy. I’m sure a better life is just around the corner.
Thank you so much 🙏
I’m a 36 year old black electrical engineering graduate.
Chin up young man.... best luck to you 💜
Good parents
Best of luck man, things will come your way, rooting for you :)
Thanks for that 💪🙌
Congratulations. Because of Mathematics, You are in a small list of people who can decide to become an engineer, a doctor a chemist a computer scientist and more. Most of us fear and don't know math and therefore are condemned to do less paying jobs. Its what you do with mathematics that matter.
Thank you 🙏
The struggle with him is that while you are true a mathematician can theoretically pick up different field.
@@stevekru6518facts
But he will become none of those. In fact he said he hates Math, that he graduated only because he had almost finished the career and dropped out.
Smile!! I haven’t got it figured out, in a similar position but know that everything happens for a reason and that something that’s best for us is lying ahead
:)
Thanks :)
Thank you for putting this out
Thank you for sharing your story, hope things are better in 2025!
Dude your still young. Don’t worry about it. You seem like your very smart, so your gonna do good in lofe
Thanks! Best of luck on your journey 🙏
Don’t give up, keep on the road man!
Thanks so much bro!! 🙏🙏 very well put. Happy holidays and happy new year to you as well man 🙌
I agree.
Keep going man, may God bless you in your journey! Join a local church community, you can go farther with others along your way 🙌🏾

Thank you for sharing and I really appreciate the kind words 🙏🙏 I wish you nothing but the best as well
