The Tusk Pannier Soft Luggage Mount system is the perfect solution for soft luggage mounting on your dual sport bike. The system is designed for use with the Tusk Pannier Racks, to fit on other panniers you may need to drill new mounting holes. Each plate is CNC laser cut from 3/16" aluminum for a light weight, durable mount. Finished with a black powder coat to protect against corrosion. The mounts do have holes to accommodate a RotopaX mount for a 1 gallon fuel pack. Carry all of your soft luggage needs on every dual sport ride with Tusk!

You really need to show how the soft luggage mount system mount to the soft bags themselves. Especially need to show how they would mount to the Tusk Pilot bags. Please!!

Do you sell just the plate without the mounting bracket..I just received my tusk racks with soft bags for my tenere 700 and it came with the mounting baskets so I just need the plate itself
How can you use this system if you do not have the tusk racks? You mention it in your video but do not show it. Do you make a spring attachment bracket to fit other brand racks?
can you make a video demonstration on how to install them on the tusk pilot please, I talked to RM customer service representative and she told me that they won't work on the pilot bags
Just bought the Pilot soft panniers and rack system. I want to attach plates and quick detach frame to the bags. Is there a video showing how?
I bought the tusk luggage rack. It came with the attachment that mounts on to the rack and all the associated bolts and nuts. I just want the plate but cant seem to find just the plate. The one that is sold includes another set of Mount bracket that I dont need. Suggestions? Hoping to lower the $$

Strap the bags to the plate the same way you strap them to the rack.
I did buy the quick mount for my pilot bags.
I was very hesitant about putting them on my bike they're very heavy.
Seemed really unnecessary.

How do they attach on the exhaust side (i.e. with the cut out corner)?
Curious, Chase said these could be mounted on most pannier racks but might require redrilling some holes, how would these stay attached to, let's say, a Givi rack? I don't think Givi racks have a spring pull to allow for removal. I'm just wondering how the bags would stay on a Givi rack system with the plates attached to the Pilot bags. Thank you for any guidance.
These were designed to work specifically with the Tusk racks. Any other racks would require the user to modify them and get them to work as best as possible. We haven't tried to use these on a Givi rack so we can't give a good answer to that. The best option is to get the kit with the racks.

If you use the Tusk soft mounts for the Pilot bags are you still strapping the two together with the 1 1/2 inch strap or is this not needed
You will still want to use the two top straps connecting the two bags. The reason for this is because that is where most the weight is supported. The bags are designed to support the weight in that area. The bags may sag and may not be as strong if not supported from the top.

Yes sir! The Tusk Pilot Pannier Bags will be a great set up with these soft luggage mounts.
@@rmatvmc Their are no straps on the pilot bags to mount on these quick release racks. Mine came in tonight and I am extremely disappointed. I essentially am going to have to use these bags as an over the seat bag so there was no point in wasting my money on the soft bag mounting system and rack.
I hope these mount easier than the frame. Not impresses with Tusk build quality.
