@IronTrapGarage Thanks Guys for responding to my post. I'm a 72 year old Oregon born hot rodder. My dad was a circle track racer from back in the late 40s and 50s so I had access to a lot of cool speed equipment when I got Involved.
Another amazing find, wow!! When I was around 15, we were at a farm auction, and there was a 33/34 Sedan Delivery. That was 40 years ago, and it was in nowhere near as nice shape as that one,
Congratulations Matt fantastic find. I had a 1936 Chevy Sedan delivery. It belonged to upper class man and when I got back from Vietnam I bought it. Wish I would have never got rid of it, but life just happens
Of all the old Fords you guys have dug up, this is definitely the coolest yet. The Sedan Delivery is my absolute favourite 32-34 body style and crazy rare here in Australia. Please keep it and turn it into the ultimate old school shop / parts chaser!
This is going to be a fantastic project to watch as you go through it. You'll need to get you sign painter lady to do some good cool logo's or something on the sides if you decide to keep it. Cheers
Great find guys! Glad you were able to spend some time with this gentlemen as well. As you said in the intro, this sort of thing is happening all over the country. I was recently contacted about a 1954 Ford glass top car that is currently owned by a nice older fellow near me who is downsizing. It's nice to see someone who understands what they are getting to fix up and pass on these old Fords. Keep up the great work!
Afternoon ITG, your sedan delivery will be a great addition to your stable of cars, thank you for gathering up the parts you find & putting them back in circulation!
While I think pretty much all vintage Fords are great looking, in recent years the '34 has become my favorite. It is hard to comprehend that these were just common "every man" cars in their day. The styling is near perfection. The sedan delivery is so cool!
The fact the Sedan Delivery rolled and steered out of the garage is amazing. Normally your cars come out with one or more tires flat, and at least one wheel seized. Can't wait for the next video on this one.
I love the stories from old timers it's just awesome you should invite him to your shop and just sit with him Matt upstairs that would be a cool video😊
Ey', early bird gets the worm! Jokes aside, it's nice to see someone who's got the exact same idea. The van would look killer with a black finish and the ITG logo on the side, hand painted of course.
Man that 34 is sweet , and that 63 T-Bird brings back memories , back in the late up 80's our highschool auto mechanics teacher baught a 63 T-Bird for $800 and drug it out of a field here in Indiana and we restored it and he had a past graduate paint it after we were done with everything else . Love that car .
@@chuckdeyo291 most definitely the stories are very important. When those Old Timers are gone so are there stories. I miss all my Old Timers I used to get valuable information from. Now I'm the Old Timer the youngers come for answers.
I think y'all just discovered my new favorite ITG vehicle. I can totally see it painted up to match "Big Red" -- complete with Hot Rod Jen handiwork -- as a companion vehicle.
Very cool 🤙 I've been digging through a local old collection. Had a local guy that work on the railroad so he collected nationwide. He passed a couple years back his grandson (my buddy) inherited most of the collection and some of the property's. So he inherited 500+ vehicles and there's 50 property's most of which are parts stashes. It's been a good time digging through everything.
Great find, sedan deliveries are few and far in between but to find one in this great and complete is a treasure. Can't wait to see this beauty on the road, Moon Delivery Service.
One of the best "find" videos yet. The '34 sedan delivery looks to be in amazing condition and I will definitely be following that story. Please say this is the next Iron Trap shop truck. Great video.
I see another Iron Trap scout car in the rough! Jen could do some wicked period correct Iron Trap shop truck lettering, and you would have Big Red and Little Black... can't wait to see the progress on this baby!!!
That 34 is to awesome for words ,you do get the deals that's for sure ,and don't hesitate on getting there and picking it up ,Loving the surf music awesome show today
Holy smokes!! I can tell you know what you got there! What a rare rare find !! My ex-brother in law owned a 38 Ford standard Sed Del. When I saw an old 53 Chev sed Del I grabbed it and swapped motors out of my 210 sedan into it. I was just a kid then wish I still had that old Delivery. I used to get PO’d when some one called it a “panel”
Extremely Kool Sedan Delivery ! Kick Ass find ! Will enjoy watching you work on this. Would be neat to find out deeper history on it and how it was used since new.
Amazing find! Your collection keeps getting better! Looking forward to watching you and the crew get her back on the road! Go Iron Trap, keep rescuing 'em and moving forward!
a friend of mine pulled a 34 sedan delivery, that had been turned into an ambulance in the late thirties. We disassembled the complete vehicle and put all the pieces up two floors and into his apartment; where he commenced to refurbish the complete vehicle. 3 years later I was invited back to Thompson. All the parts and pieces were put ito an enclosed trailer and hauled back to Brandon for paint and reassembly. That was over 40 years ago now.
I’ve been following your channel for a while now and I find it amazing how you guys find all this neat stuff and even more amazing the amount of hard physical effort and labor expended to get it all sorted through and back to your shop.
Sherman's raid of Richmond, Part II. Hehehe! Thanks for sharing. Listening to the older gentleman's Virginia accent brought back so many memories of my relatives there in the state I was born!
I've been watching for years and I think the Sedan Delivery is the best find of all.
Thank you!

Of all the cars Matt and Mike have found and/or rescued, this is my favorite.
Wonderful to here the old guys stories, I hope his family records it all so it doesn’t get lost
I love the '34 Panel. It's nice to see in such a complete state. It seems that answers the question of what to do w/ the Plymouth wagon!
Of all the old Fords you guys have dug up, this is definitely the coolest yet. The Sedan Delivery is my absolute favourite 32-34 body style and crazy rare here in Australia.

bless that ol' gent. he's a charming guy with great taste in cars. glad to hear his stories.
It was a pleasure to get to hear them!
Wow the Sedan Delivery is very cool and in amazing condition. Thanks for sharing the trip with us.
So nice, the spare grille is icing
I love all the cars in your fleet, but that delivery is by far the coolest car ever.. love it
You have great contacts that help you locate great vehicles.

We were relieved to have one go “easy” for once!

It's that first hand history that really makes a car cool or not.

Dang! What a find! It makes you wonder what is still hidden out there in dusty old garages that haven't been open in years!
It’s what keeps us going!

That is so freaking cool I'm just as excited as you Matt I can't wait for a go for a ride around the block and the sucker
Not something I picture Matt keeping but it's in the top two or three hes had!
'46 Ford convertible was my 1sst car. Had no top so I bought one from JC Whitney (I think) and a new front wood bow and fitted it all myself.
