Damn..... I LOVE THAT DELIVERY!!! What a Beautiful FORD. I believe the BEST LOOKING FORD EVER. 32 / 33 / 34 / 35. Those Years are so so so GOOD LOOKING Cars, & Trucks. Ya Matt, an old 32/33/34 BODY on top of the Office would look really Cool.
Office looks great. The overhang to the left of the door where it meets the warehouse wall. I would put a vertical support there since that corner is just hanging out there with no structure. Especially if you are storing things up there. Just my idea to help make things better for ITG. Keep the breeze!
@@IronTrapGarage Take another 2 X * and fit it tight under the ledger down to the floor, and fasten it to the building post (column). That will take some of the load off of the fasteners that are attaching the ledger to the post (column). Then at the unsupported end of the floor, use a 2 x * from the overhang back to the column at a 45 degree angle (a knee brace) to stiffen the unsupported overhang. Be safe.
Hi Guys! Congratulations on your new exciting '34 acquisition! 👍👍 Concerning your new office, consider a mini split HVAC system. The compressor hangs on the outside wall with the heat exchanger on the inside. They are relatively inexpensive taking up minimal space on the inside with quiet efficient operation both heat and cold. Both Home Depot and Lowe's caries them. Thanks. Bob
You could make a bigger office space on top of office and create an area to display posters and memorabilia with some period furniture juke boxes etc. put stairway to left against wall.
The new office is cool. The only different thing I would have done is with that overhang on the left against the wall. That'd be a good spot for a second flight of stairs.
I would have enlarged footprint, tucking office into corner of building. Once interior is furnished, it's gonna get real claustrophobic. Compressor can stay between buildings in its own enclosure. Would've raised top elevation to be flush with second floor as well. Coulda-shoulda-woulda...
hey Matt rethink getting a floor AC with an exhaust. wall/window mounts are still the better choice. you can do a search on TH-cam and find that they are inefficient and not a good buy. maybe not all, but they are still a weaker choice than a wall/window unit.
I just wanted to say how much I like that your fast forward music doesn't make me want to fast forward. Other unnamed channels make me want to mute. Someday Moon will have a day in the life of video. Good job guys.
I've been a fan of Iron Trap Garage since the beginning Matt and it has sure grown in so many ways. The vehicles and parts you deal with now and having guys like Steve and Mike to help makes for great content. Keep up the great work all of you there at ITG! Oh I forgot to ask if you could throw in a mail opening session? I enjoyed watching you, your wife and Moon open packages. Especially the weird Canadian candy/food and Moons treats.
Did you look into spray foaming the place ? Would help with temp & moisture control. Not a Ford guy but that 34 sedan delivery is Sexy. Ty for taking us along
Im working on my 41 Ford Pick Up as I watch.... Great video, as always. Being from the PNW, it's so awesome to see lumber from Boise Cascade Timber products. 2 miles away from my shop ... I know that the door header is reu stout. Lol
That Ford Delivery has so much potential to be the new merch van if you go with the idea. Black paint, red rims with the classic ITG logo on the sides, hand painted!
Some exotics at the show. Like the car on the cab over. Mr. Goodpliers went to a huge auction of items from a speed shop guy. There was the lowest hot rod I’ve seen for sale. Check it out.
you need to buy a Leak Down Tester. they are cheap enough. then you can determine the cause of the low compression: you listen for the air leak and will be able to tell if it is leaking past an exhaust valve or an intake valve. rings or head gasket...
Another great week and can't wait to see the Sedan Delivery come together and back on the road! Your work ethic is humbling! Go Iron Trap, keep moving forward!
Two comments! I agree that the Ford Sedan Deliver should be an Iron Trap vehicle. Trick it out put your logo on the side drive it to shows and swap meets. Second I was interested in your dads bike adventures. I did my first 100 mile ride about that year. I was 15 years old and I rode a 3 speed English bike and took my 12 year old brother who rode a 1 speed Schwinn! I also later rode from CT to Maine and back. Did a tour of Cape Cod and Martha's Vinyard, Nantucket, to Block Isle to Montauk LI to Port Jeff ferry ride back to CT. Then I moved to Seattle , in my early 30's. Rode across Washington State thru Idaho in Montana (Glacier Nat Park) into Canada, back thru Lewis and Clark trail to the Snake River, back to Seattle. I toured the Olympic peninsula, then spent 40 days (2500 miles) in Alaska. I'll be 69 years old in a month and am still riding. Spent a week on Block Isle in July and as per usual rode 100 miles around while there.
That's a pretty long walk around to get to the other end of the loft. You might want to think about a set of steep stairs or a ladder at the back end for quick access.
Warm in the summer & cool in the winter? (16:40) Doesn't the weather do that already? LOL.
Yep, Matt must be getting tired for that blooper.

Mike's gonna love having an air compressor as his office mate.
Say it louder. He can't hear you over the sound of the compressor.😅
My thought too. My compressor is about 80 feet from the office. About as far as I can get it away and still have it undercover.
Right window installed upside down!

We lagged it into the uprights of the building so it should emulate the same idea as you had. Good thinking though!

Looks like there are a lot more older stuff at your shows in the northeast than here in the midwest. I like the "week in the life" videos. Thanks
Looks like you all are having fun. I love sedan deliveries! My current old truck is a 53 chevy panel truck. Never had a sedan delivery, yet.
Love the day In the life videos..will there be future videos on the vw 😊
We might show it a little as we get it back on the road!
the Delivery is a special piece .... chomping at the bit for this build , amazing promo piece for the business
Very cool 🤙 just came across a 37 ford panel truck.
I recognize that compression tester! Glad to see it getting use
It’s helpful! Thank you!

I'm gonna have to send you another shirt soon buddy. Your gonna wear that one out fast.
It’s in my rotation of black tshirts. It’s got a while! But I’m rough on my clothes! Haha

Stairs take up floor space and we don’t need to get up there often. Plus we can walk right off the mezzanine to get there.

For the size of the room and how well insulated it’ll be we should be just fine.
@@IronTrapGaragea Mr. Cool unit would be perfect for that small office. Heat and A/C in one unit.

Awesome seeing the 32
I love that panel truck that's awesome you need to do lettering on the side saying Beaver Valley catering service
I would make that panel IronTrap Parts Delivery , would look awesome !
Mike's Place. Serving only Hamm's Beer. Nice.
Another in the line of awesome Video's from " Iron Trap Garage " taking me back to my time in the mid 50s
Did you look into spray foaming the place ? Would help with temp & moisture control. Not a Ford guy but that 34 sedan delivery is Sexy. Ty for taking us along
Good stuff. It’s great to see the family helping out 😊

You built a horse stall for your work horse Mike. 😂
Bigger.... and a window to see OUTSIDE. .......Re-focus eyes and just keep things in perspective.
Fantastic project though, more 'week' videos please.
Always good a week in the life of!!

Hi from England, watch all your videos, your new delivery sedan definitely needs your arden, what a combo😂,best regards james
Hello Iron trap Garage. Did you guys manage to catch the mouse that ran into the building. The one that came out of the old estate car. Cheers.
Irontrap Signage on Sedan Delivery would look great, like "Big Red"
I am thinking that if you finished the sweetheart roadster you would freely some space😁
I am surprised you didn't come home with that parking meter that was in the garage with that beautiful 46 convertible . Great video.

My first time here, don't know exactly what you're all about, but old cars are what it seems to be, so of course I'm into it.
Thanks for watching! Subscribe and you’ll see the fun we get into!

Much appreciated!
Great interview. When do we hear Mikey's story?
Looks like it's time for a flathead powered 61 Plymouth!

Good job on the office 🏬 ❤😊
Richmond!? That's my neck of the woods. Hope y'all enjoyed your stay.
Dude!!! Fun video!!! Beautiful customs!!!✌️
Love the Suburban 👍👌
You guys are killing it. Another great video. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching
Prefab building for the office?
Another awesome video 😂 Thanks again
That's a pretty long walk around to get to the other end of the loft. You might want to think about a set of steep stairs or a ladder at the back end for quick access.
Steep stairs or ladder would take up space and be more annoying to climb. We don’t need to go up there often enough to necessitate that.
Some beautiful customs at shoe.
That black car is low…does it go up when switched on 😮
Is the warehouse empty
Yea Mike has an office😂
Iron trap garage and carpentry
I know someone who took a regular outdoor shed and put it in his shop to use as an office. It was cheaper than building an office.
That works if you don’t want a custom construction with a flat roof to store things on…
Local gatherings are coming back.
Keep it real. 😎
Run out of space again , Looks like you need to build a new shed 😂
Don’t u just love it, when Mike say it cost to much than go’s out buy a car and parts
I'm surprised y'all didn't put down a vapor barrier on the floor before framing for your office...
We used pressure treated. Shouldn’t be any issues
That looks like it was a he'll of a show!! Man that sedan delivery is titts
Did you guys get all out of the warehouse? Also do you still have the gray 39 haven't seen it lately
I think that's an upstairs car
The warehouse we’re still clearing out. The 39 got sold to a viewer.
Nice Video. Nice looking Cars & Trucks.

Man that 34' SD is bad azz. I know this is sacrilege but it would make a bitchin' street rod.
What happened to the shop pickup?
Sold it a year ago
Office MOON S SLEEP OUT
It’s 115 degrees here in Baghdad Iraq 😢.
It's 110 here in Arizona along the river for over 100 days 😮
Lumber is expensive because it doesn't grow on trees you know!
Sedan Delivery is a job I know I'll keep / It sure was hard to find #neilyoungandcrazyhorse
i would like to have the sedan delivery
😃😃😃😃
You obviously didn't buy lumber during the "pandemic". I'm so glad the days of the $10.00 2x4 are past us......for now.
I had my second floor of my other building built during the end of the pandemic inflation. I know all about it.
@@IronTrapGarage Ahhhh, you're right. I forgot about that.
👍👍👍
🤘🏼⛽️🍻
That scrap wood was knowing ww2 it was stuff that come out middle east
Maybe a mini split for climate control in the office.
Someday. But for now a simple air conditioner for $100 is cheaper and easier.
Mike shouldn't be sitting on his ass in the office. There's boxes to be shipped 😅
@@IronTrapGarage check thrift shops. I scored a portable AC for $4.95 at Goodwill. That and space heater from a garage sale works in my garage.
Lol office is never big enough
Carbon date it
The Sedan Delivery is Bad Ass I love it.
